Portfolio: Oncology, Immunology and Virology

Location: Astana or Almaty 


  • Developing long- and short-term strategy for drugs` access to the Kazakhstan market. Elaborating tactical plans to extend access to each funding channel after appropriate funding channels analysis performance per brand and Therapeutic Area; 
  • Monitoring and controlling the strategy's execution and modifying the approach and tools in response to input from internal and external experts; 
  • Preparation of business cases. Business cases presentation at Area and Global levels in order to obtain the approval of the developed strategy; 
  • Analyzing MA materials and tools created by Global and Area teams, Russian MA & Pricing team in the appropriate Therapeutic Areas. Materials localization at Kazakhstan level; 
  • Participation in functional and cross-functional meetings and training sessions organized by the Area and Global teams in their respective areas of responsibility, with the goal of learning more about the resources and tools being created to support the Company's product value statement strategy and assessing the ways of their adaptation and implementation in Kazakhstan, as well as gathering and analyzing the region's best practices in terms of MA; 
  • Developing argumentation, pricing strategy and evidence base necessary for drugs’ listings (preparation of dossiers for inclusion in reimbursement; analysis of pharmacoeconomic advantages of the product; analysis of international reference pricing regulations, advocacy campaign development with key stakeholders); 
  • Value propositions (VP) development aiming to reflect clear and strict information on drugs’ clinical and economic benefits as well as strong justification for company's brand differentiation from the key competitors; 
  • Interacting with other affiliate`s departments (cross-functional interaction); 
  • Providing proactive and on-demand market access information to other Company`s departments needed for business goals achievements; 
  • Development and leadership of cross-functional projects related to access extension in different funding channels. Assessment of the possibility and necessity of innovative tools introducing in the relevant therapeutic areas; 
  • Analysis of external environment and legislation in the field of healthcare, monitoring of relevant legislative changes, understanding trends in the field of drug provision and their impact on MA strategy. Participation in initiatives to develop legislative changes within the framework of AIPM etc. Associations; 
  • Interacting and building relationships with opinion leaders, external organizations and specialists in the fields of healthcare organization and regulation; 
  • Trainings for team members in healthcare regulations, funding channels, MA strategy analysis for each channel, understanding of drugs’ VP and positioning vs competitors; 
  • Participating in materials preparation for brand plans development, financial planning cycles, budget planning and preparation of cycle meetings. 

Требования к квалификации


  • Higher education (in medicine, pharmacy or economy); 
  • At least 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry; 
  • Experience in building MA strategies for innovative products in the pre-launch/launch stage in state funding segment; experience in pharmacoeconomic research and dossiers preparation for federal listings is desirable; 
  • Knowledge of the fundamentals of the Kazakhstan healthcare system and drugs provision, pricing regulations, including the basics of regulatory and financial regulations within different funding channels, knowledge and application of pharmacoeconomical analysis methods; 
  • Well-developed analytical and critical thinking skills and the ability to assess difficult problems from various angles and reach well-though-out conclusions; 
  • Well-developed communication skills, an ability to develop trusted connections, flexibility and adaptability, an ability to operate as part of a cross-functional team; 
  • Upper-intermediate written and spoken English skills; 
  • High ethical standards.
