The Material System Specialist is responsible for maintaining the furniture and project warehouse inventories. This includes, but is not limited to receiving, storing, picking, distributing project material, special projects identified by the Group Leader or Manager and working in the Warehouse during times of high volume or staffing issues.
Responsibilities:
- The Material System Specialist will receive, put away, store and distribute incoming project equipment, conveyors, tanks, vessels, etc. All project material will be received, tracked, or stored on Symphony, Maximo, the Furniture Staging list and/or the Spare Parts list. The Furniture Staging list will be updated and published daily by the Material System Specialist.
- • The Material System Specialist will also complete special projects as identified by the Warehouse Group Leader or Manager. The special projects could include but are not limited to: inventory moves, rack relocations, inventory error investigations, system projects, validations, customer walk throughs to eliminate non-value storage, etc.
- Working in the Warehouse receiving, picking, storing and distributing material as deemed necessary by the Group Leader or Manager. The Material System Specialist will have to maintain training certifications in the Warehouse to assist on daily basis as needed.
- High School Diploma required, Associates Degree in Business preferred. Valid Driver’s License required for driving department vehicles to project locations.
- 1-3 years of experience in Warehouse, Distribution, or Inventory Control required.
- Excellent problem solving skills, communication skills, and computer skills (PC and Mainframe) required.
- Must be committed to total customer satisfaction.
- Must be able to lift 70 lbs.
- Forklift experience required.
- Must be able to wear all safety equipment.
- Valid Driver’s License required for driving department vehicles to various locations.

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
