This field-based role will support accounts in Vancouver, BC and Vancouver Island, BC.
Travel requirement: 50% travel between Vancouver and Vancouver Island locations
The Territory Manager (TM) is responsible for driving business results and advancing the Allergan Aesthetics portfolio by developing strong customer partnerships and executing strategic territory plans. This role contributes to the achievement of business objectives through effective account management, cross-functional collaboration, and a customer-centric approach.
The territory encompasses both Vancouver and Vancouver Island, requiring flexibility, strong organizational skills, and the ability to effectively manage a geographically diverse customer base.
The successful candidate will build trusted relationships with healthcare professionals and key stakeholders, identify opportunities to grow the business, and collaborate closely with internal partners to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
This role requires a self-starter who is adaptable, accountable, and committed to delivering results while embodying AbbVie's Ways We Work.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The following responsibilities are representative of the work performed in this role. Other duties may be assigned as required.
- Achieve or exceed sales objectives by developing and executing a strategic territory business plan across Vancouver and Vancouver Island.
- Build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, clinics, and key accounts to drive sustainable business growth and customer loyalty.
- Promote the Allergan Aesthetics portfolio in accordance with AbbVie policies, industry regulations, and applicable compliance standards.
- Identify customer needs and deliver value-based solutions that support practice growth, patient outcomes, and portfolio utilization.
- Develop account-specific strategies, prioritize opportunities, and effectively manage territory resources to maximize business performance.
- Analyze sales performance, market trends, customer insights, and competitive activity to identify opportunities and adjust business plans accordingly.
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams including Clinical Specialists, Medical Affairs, Marketing, Customer Excellence, Market Access, and Sales Leadership to deliver a seamless customer experience.
- Plan and execute educational programs, customer meetings, workshops, and promotional activities aligned with territory objectives.
- Maintain accurate customer records, territory plans, forecasts, and activity reporting within AbbVie's CRM platform.
- Effectively manage the territory budget while ensuring responsible stewardship of company resources.
- Demonstrate a commitment to AbbVie's Ways We Work by fostering collaboration, accountability, integrity, and inclusion.
- Travel regularly throughout Vancouver and Vancouver Island to provide consistent customer coverage and support.
- Manage territory expenses and promotional budgets responsibly and in accordance with AbbVie policies.
- Support accurate forecasting and territory planning.
EDUCATION
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant sales experience will be considered.
- Valid driver's licence and ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 2 years of successful aesthetics, medical device, healthcare, or specialty sales experience required.
- Demonstrated understanding of (B2B) sales principles, including consultative selling, strategic account management, and creating long-term customer value beyond transactional selling.
- A proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales objectives.
- Experience calling on physicians, specialists, or healthcare professionals is strongly preferred.
- Experience managing a geographically diverse territory and independently prioritizing customer engagement.
- Knowledge of injectable aesthetics, dermatology, plastic surgery, or medical aesthetics is considered a strong asset.
- Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Veeva CRM or Salesforce) and Microsoft Office applications.

LANGUAGE
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are required.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Valid British Columbia Class 5 driver's licence.
- Ability to travel approximately 50% throughout Vancouver and Vancouver Island, including occasional overnight travel.
- Ability to transport promotional materials and meeting equipment as required.
- Flexibility to attend occasional evening and weekend educational programs or customer events.
- Satisfactory background screening in accordance with AbbVie hiring policies.
