Job Description 

The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for assisting in the development, management and executions of customer marketing initiatives, including leading specific marketing initiatives and Sampling strategy. You will be highly detail-oriented and organized.  You must be able to multi-task projects and execute on time. You will need to anticipate bottlenecks, and balance the business needs and requests. You need strong communication skills.  You’ll be able to coordinate and communicate with our field partners, cross-functional partners, and senior leaders across the company, developing and managing these relationships. 

Responsibilities 

Reporting to the Director of HCP Marketing, the focus of this position will be to support development, manage, and execute marketing programs and projects that support larger business initiatives. This position will support SkinMedica, DiamondGlow, and Latisse to ensure projects are optimized to achieve portfolio goals. The Marketing Specialist will: 

• Ensure Assets are deployed per Strategy; Manage coordination across all cross-functional partners 

• Strategy Contributor - Work with cross-functional partners to gather all necessary performance metrics; analyze inputs to formulate how we optimize or accelerate plans. 

• Develop, manage, and publish all assets developed  for field partners and HCP accounts.  

• Own working relationship with cross-functional partners to ensure consistency of execution and communication.  

  • Partner with field teams to get insights on how we can improve field marketing and implement and action for team. 

• Prepare and submit materials for medical, legal, regulatory and compliance reviews in an online document-control system (Veeva Vault PromoMats). Annotate documents and create anchor text for references. Attend weekly steering committee meetings with key stakeholders. Communicate frequently with materials reviewer to ensure deadlines are met.  Work in Veeva fluidly. 

• Own the Veeva process start to finish, self-managed projects, as well as additional projects for the Brand Team, as needed. 

• Manage all sampling for the brand including car stock, internal sampling needs, and samples for the corporate office. 

• Own project management for specific projects that support Brand Promotional Strategy (short-term treatment-driving activities); Drive visibility and execution across cross-functional teams for these projects 

• Keep message maps and Consumer Core claims Sheets up to date; document annotations, citations, reference pieces and update as needed.  

• Other duties as assigned 

 

Essential Skills, Experience, and Competencies 

• Self-Starter who proactively seeks solutions to ensure positive outcomes and on-time deliverables 

• Strong organizations skills with the ability to multi-task various projects simultaneously 

• Excels administratively and is proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Apps, analytics platforms (like Dash Hudson), tracking and monitoring budgets, promotions, and marketing deliverables, analyzing and reporting on content/campaign key metrics 

• Keen marketing sense and thrives in a busy environment 

• Team player who can step in as needed on ad hoc requests and collaborate cross-functionally with various departments to include Brands, Customer Marketing, Performance Marketing, Promotions, PR/Partnerships, Alle, and more 

• Flexible and easily adapts to change 

 


Qualifications

Minimum qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study; or equivalent experience 

• 3-5 years of marketing experience with a growing level of responsibility 

• Experience with beauty, pharmaceuticals, medical device products, or CPG 

• Knowledge of marketing strategies and experience developing and executing marketing initiatives 

• Expertise in all main social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn) publishing, UI, analytics, and current trends 

• Excellent project management and communication skills 

• Familiarity/experience with Microsoft Office & Google applications

This range may be  modified in the future. ​
