The Senior Reliability Maintenance Technician improves asset reliability by minimizing risks, maximizing uptime, standardizing maintenance, and ensuring technical support and compliance for critical infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to AbbVie’s code of conduct.
- Ensure reliability and functional integrity of site assets by implementing, optimizing, and standardizing proactive maintenance strategies (PM, PdM, RCM).
- Partner with Maintenance teams to develop and execute reliability improvement plans, including Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations, Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) evaluations, and failure data analysis.
- Train and mentor lower-level technicians and cross-functional partners in reliability best practices, technical skills, and safety standards.
- Support and champion continuous improvement and safety initiatives within the maintenance organization and across the site.
- Ensure all maintenance and reliability activities align with safety and GMP/cGMP compliance requirements.
- Analyze asset data to track performance trends and recommend actions to improve long-term equipment health and sustainability.
- HS diploma with 10+ yrs. experience or College degree, college certificate, or formal apprenticeship and 5+ years of work experience related to skilled trades or other relevant technical degree
- CMRT (Certified Maintenance and Reliability Technician) or equivalent accreditation desired.
- Proficient user of Abbvie’s CMMS (computerized maintenance management system) and intermediate skills with MS Windows.Total minimum experience: 2 years (cumulative).
- Knowledge and ability to use advanced tools (i.e., machine tools, diagnostic tools, predictive tools)
- Good understanding of asset reliability principles and maintenance best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Valid state issued Driver’s license.

Pay Range: $
29.7 - 53.5 USD
Where We Work
Role is exclusively performed at a site or office and onsite presence is required. Employees who are site/office-based and can occasionally perform their role virtually work both in the office and remotely*, following the policies and regulations in place at their location. US Employees must be in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. Three days in the office is the minimum; some individuals or teams may require more in-office days due to meetings, business/project needs or their role.
