Job Description

The Senior Financial Analyst supports the financial planning and analysis with respect to Actual, Plan, Update, LBE, LRP and various analyses to support the day-to-day operations and strategic plans for BTS Finance.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the Capital process, including preparing and reviewing Request for Capital Expenditures (RCE) in accordance with financial policies.
  • Manages monthly CIP capitalization submission review and annual fixed asset write off process.
  • Performs quarterly Depreciation Simulations and maintain models that support Plan/Long Range Planning (LRP)/Latest Best Estimate (LBE).
  • Prepares project expense monthly variance analysis and commentary. Understand monthly results and communicates risks and opportunities vs. benchmark to manager and budget owners. (Actual and LBE).
  • Works directly with Accounting Shared Service contact on month-end (and year-end close processes) to ensure complete, accurate and timely monthly actual results.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 4+ years FP&A or Financial reporting related experience.
  • Proficient Excel skills required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • SAP General Ledger and SRM experience
