The Field Tools Senior Analyst is a role which will aid in data, analytics and process reporting for the success of Field Tools across AbbVie’s Enterprise teams (Medical Affairs, Patient Services and Market Access). The Field Tools Senior Analyst will work collaboratively with our field and marketing colleagues, as well as home office employees, along with continuously contributing creative ideas.
The position is a part of the Field Planning & Analytics Team which drives field force effectiveness by optimizing our sales force size and structure, ensuring our IC designs are driving the right behavior, and ensuring our call plans, field tools and operations provide our field teams with what they need to drive the business in their markets. This position reports into the leader.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses, develop reports and dashboards to track KPIs to drive actionable insights that are aligned with business objectives
- Understand AbbVie’s CRM ecosystem and how they play into metric tracking. Work with internal and external stakeholders to help answer field questions and triangulate areas of opportunity for improvement in tools/processes
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring proactive communication with internal and external customers.
- Develop comprehensive documentation and technical support materials to facilitate understanding of FPAT workstreams and business processes.
- Synthesize and communicate data-driven insights to senior leadership, addressing analytical and project-specific questions.
- Champion continuous improvement and automation by identifying and advocating for enhancements improve field tool experience, analytics processes and outputs.
Additional Role Responsibilities:
- Familiarize and support data within field tools for all Enterprise brands. Assist the Enterprise Field Tools Associate Director and Managers in development of new tools, providing insights and conducting analysis based on data inquiries, the feasibility of new data requests and existing reports.
- Support maintenance of data segmentation lists that will be implemented into various systems.
- Work with compliance teams on creating monthly and ad-hoc reports
- BA or BS degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or related technical field.
- 2-3 years of analytical and/or related operations experience strongly preferred, ideally within the pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry.
- Strong working knowledge and experience with SQL, Snowflake, and Power BI preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot table, charts, macros, etc.) and all components of MS Office Suite (e.g., Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical reasoning, intellectual curiosity, business acumen, and creativity in problem-solving.
- Demonstrated database management and project management skills.
- Ability to clearly and confidently articulate complex and difficult data concepts to a broad client base, including senior leadership, sales leadership, and other high-level contacts.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment in order to meet critical deadlines.
- Ability to work cross-functionally, in a matrix environment, and collaborate with multiple stakeholders (verticals, COE, brand teams).
- Ability to make valuable contributions both independently and as a collaborative team member, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs.
