Purpose :
Provides direct support to an assigned area. Applies relevant principles to support projects and ongoing
activities. Completes tasks which support a project or functional team.
Responsibilities :
- Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
- Uses appropriate tools to collect, correlate and analyze data; records and maintains technical data for use in developing operating and instruction manuals. Conducts tests; develops preliminary findings for review by experienced analysts.
- Assists in the development of standards and procedures. Prepares written reports of work.
- Applies and executes standard information systems theories, concepts and techniques.
- Determines approach and solution to problem when issue is within scope of own ability.
- Develops solutions to problems where casual relationships can be identified and precedents exist. Conducts training.
- Applies analytical thinking skills to diagnose and make recommendations on systems.
- Incorporates knowledge of business and technology to make recommendations. Translates data gathered from user discussions into business requirements. Identifies business/system needs and recommends solutions. Assists with the testing strategies and develops preliminary findings.
- Analyzes departmental processes and needs, and makes recommendations that are most effective means to satisfy those needs. Analyses the most complex work procedures and job methods and presents concepts to simplify those procedures.
- Work is performed and technical decisions are made with a high degree of independence and performance is judged by results obtained.
- Works effectively with team/group to accomplish organizational goals. Actively participates in client or team meetings by offering suggestions. Provides leadership to project planning.
- Monitors and organizes the efforts of technical and business support staff. Manages projects according to milestones and completes tasks assigned by more experienced analysts and managers. Guides the efforts of less experienced staff.
- Exercises latitude in approach to problem and solution. Work is reviewed for soundness of business judgement and to determine if overall results and objectives have been achieved. Errors or failure to achieve expected results may result in project delays and/or the expenditure of more resources than was planned.
- Regular assignments are completed with minimal supervision
- Bachelor's Degree required with emphasis in computer science, engineering, telecommunications, business administration, or a related technical discipline.
- Professional experience of at least 4-6 years demonstrating continuously increasing levels of project and management responsibilities and accomplishments in several areas of information systems organizations (e.g., applications development, technical services, and operations).
- Significant experience and proven track record in either a consulting or line management role in developing and implementing a strategic technology plan in an emerging information technology discipline for a large diverse corporate environment. Specific experience with global network infrastructure planning, design and implementation is required.
- Minimum 3-4 years technical experience in a client/server network environment consisting of frame-relay wide-area networking, switched high-speed Ethernet local-area networks, high-speed Internet access, ISDN, switched dial access, and VPN remote access and network security technologies in a multinational global corporation.
- Experience in the development, negotiation, review and administration of vendor service agreements and software licensing agreements, as well as the development and management of a department budget. Experience managing large-scale projects in a team-oriented cross-organizational environment.
- Proven technical and vendor management skills and the ability to motivate a third-party service provider to deliver world-class, innovative technical services while meeting or exceeding established project goals within a predefined operating budget.
- In-depth technical knowledge of a wide range of emerging computing and telecommunications technologies and the ability to maintain this expertise in a rapidly changing, technically complex information technology environment.
- Excellent project management skills along with good analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communications skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers at all levels of management.
- The ability to work effectively with others and a demonstrated cultural awareness during interactions with people in multi-national settings.
- A demonstrated work ethic that emphasizes customer focus, quality and continuous improvement.

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this roleat the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on manyfactors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

Pay Range: $
80500 - 156500 USD
Where We Work
Role is exclusively performed at a site or office and onsite presence is required. Employees who are site/office-based and can occasionally perform their role virtually work both in the office and remotely*, following the policies and regulations in place at their location. US Employees must be in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. Three days in the office is the minimum; some individuals or teams may require more in-office days due to meetings, business/project needs or their role.
