- Reports to: National Sales Manager
Primary Purpose
- Achieve consistent sales performance in the assigned territory
- Provide quality products and service to customers
- Build technical and selling skills to meet customer needs
- Identify new business opportunities while maintaining existing business
Key Responsibilities
- Provide monthly sales information to the National Sales Manager to support forecasting
- Work with the National Sales Manager to develop and execute the sales plan after forecast approval
- Implement product sales strategies to achieve sales goals and targets
- Use effective selling skills and regular customer contact to meet customer needs and territory targets
- Identify new or expanded business opportunities within the territory
- Maintain existing business while growing the territory
- Prepare and communicate daily, weekly, and monthly plans, results, cycle goals, and sales targets to Sales and Marketing Management
- Share market intelligence with Sales and Marketing Management
- Attend marketing activities, conferences, health talks, exhibitions, booths, and trade shows as required
- Conduct video showings, slide presentations, in-service sessions, trials, market research, and speaker meetings as required
- Ensure all territory activities are professional and comply with AbbVie standards and the Code of Conduct
- Maintain territory and customer records accurately
- Attend regular departmental meetings and provide feedback to the manager

- Deliver convincing product knowledge and promotional messages through effective customer segmentation
- Handle key issues and work with customers toward mutual solutions
- Use Challenger selling skills to influence customer opinions and manage conflict
- Proactively seek feedback and take action to deliver results
Customer Management
- Ensure customer satisfaction
- Build long-term, positive customer relationships and adapt approach by customer segmentation
- Manage key stakeholders and opinion leaders with strong communication skills
- Build an effective information network to anticipate opportunities and manage customer status
SFE and Territory Planning
- Plan and execute a 90-day territory management plan with flexibility
- Manage territory resources accurately and on time
- Use SFE and other tools to collect customer data and visit records for analysis and planning
- Experience in hematology or oncology is required
- minimum with 3 years sales experience in the relevant industry
- Listing experience or new product launch experience is a plus
- Ability to build strong relationships with peers, cross-functional partners, and external partners
- Strong professional knowledge, selling skills, territory management, and execution ability
- Ability to manage multiple tasks under aggressive timelines in a dynamic environment
- Comfortable dealing with ambiguity, uncertainty, and risk
- Able to make high-quality decisions with incomplete information
- Willing to take ownership of tough challenges
