Due to a recent promotion in our team we are now seeking a PTP Accountant.
As a PTP Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, maintaining strong vendor relations, and contributing to the overall financial management of our organization. Your expertise in these areas will be essential in keeping our operations running smoothly.
But that's not all - this role goes beyond traditional accounting duties. You will have the chance to interact and coordinate with various roles in our finance department, as well as stakeholders outside of finance. This unique exposure will provide you with a wider understanding of our Affiliate business, allowing you to grow both professionally and personally.

- Execute Procure-to-pay (PTP) related processes within the Scandinavian Affiliate:
- Supplier invoice processing: ensuring timely processing and accuracy.
- Creation of purchase orders: ensuring correctness of accounting details and required documentation.
- Vendor master administrator: creating new vendors, updating existing vendors, managing requests from Affiliate.
- Contact vendors whenever needed for follow-up queries.
- Provide holistic service to the Affiliate by passing on requests and troubleshooting to the relevant department or link point.
- Support the business in everyday work with purchase orders and invoice related topic.
- Perform quarterly and annual closing activities to maintain an acceptable level of Procure to Pay KPIs.
- Compliance Monitoring & Transparency reporting
- Quarterly monitoring of our payments to healthcare professionals and healthcare organizations.
- Continuous reporting of payments made to healthcare professionals and healthcare organizations.
- Working with the Global team to compile and publish yearly EFPIA (The European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations) report.
- Systems administration
- Creating new users, changing access, and supporting users with troubleshooting.
- Management of invoices and purchase orders.
- Travel expenses management.
- Contract management.
- Controlling Team in Scandinavia
- Assisting the Controller in executing closing activities and ensuring that all necessary accrual bookings are made with supporting documentation.
- Conducting thorough internal controls to guarantee adherence to our policies in our PTP processes
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- We believe you have either 1-2 years of experience in a similar role or alternatively have completed relevant internships during your university education and are ready to take on your first job.
- Proficiency in SAP and MS Office is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Service / solution-oriented work style.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Fluency in Swedish and English mandatory, Danish and/or Norwegian is a plus
This position is based at the wonderful Forskaren building, located in the heart of Hagastaden. At AbbVie, we offer a hybrid working model: three days in the office and two days working from home each week. Where We Work
Role is primarily site- or office-based but can occasionally be performed remotely. Employees who are site/office-based and can occasionally perform their role virtually work both in the office and remotely*, following the policies and regulations in place at their location. US Employees must be in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. Three days in the office is the minimum; some individuals or teams may require more in-office days due to meetings, business/project needs or their role.
