Job Description

At Allergan Aesthetics, the Medical Advisor with Field Responsibilities will play a vital role at the intersection of science, strategy, and patient impact. You will act as a trusted scientific partner to internal stakeholders and the external medical community, delivering accurate, balanced, and credible medical information to help optimize patient care and treatment outcomes.

You will lead field-based scientific engagement with healthcare professionals and build strong collaborative relationships with national and regional opinion leaders. Through these partnerships, you will help shape scientific dialogue in emerging areas of science and support future product innovation. You will also contribute to investigator-led studies, publication activities, and cross-functional business priorities by providing clinical insight, technical expertise, and scientific training.

What You Will Do

  • You will provide in-depth clinical and scientific information on AbbVie Aesthetics products to internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • You will maintain a strong understanding of AbbVie Aesthetics products, therapeutic areas, emerging indications, and future developments.
  • You will manage collaborative relationships with national and local opinion leaders to support scientific alignment and AbbVie Aesthetics strategy.
  • You will organize advisory boards and scientific roundtables with external experts.
  • You will attend key scientific congresses to engage with opinion leaders and stay current on scientific and therapeutic advances.
  • You will review investigator-initiated study proposals and manage requests in line with company SOPs.
  • You will support publication requests from physicians and investigators.
  • You will stay informed on international, EU, and local legal, regulatory, and ethical requirements related to clinical research.
  • You will support national investigators participating in company-sponsored studies, where appropriate.
  • You will provide strategic scientific insight to Leadership and Brand Teams to support business needs and medical affairs priorities.
  • You will advise speakers for congresses, symposia, and other scientific events.
  • You will support the creation and delivery of scientific training and materials for internal and external audiences.
  • You will review and approve promotional materials within your area of expertise.
  • You will perform additional tasks aligned with business needs and the direction of your line manager and leadership team.

Qualifications

  • You will be a Medical Doctor or a relevant scientist - preferred ; an M.Sc. or higher degree will be a minimum requirement.
  • You will bring at least 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably at least 1 year in Medical Affairs.
  • You will have a strong understanding of the clinical and scientific aspects of Medical Aesthetics.
  • You will communicate fluently in English.
  • You will have excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex scientific information into clear, compelling language for diverse audiences.
  • You will be willing to travel regularly, with up to 40% field-based activity.
