Job Description

We are currently looking for a Unit Dose Compounding Manufacturing Technician at our site in Westport, Mayo

The Manufacturing Technician will perform various tasks to support the compounding & manufacturing of batches, testing filters, documenting batch related activities, housekeeping and environmental monitoring. This shift will be 12 hour Saturday, Sunday and Monday, 12 hours, 8am - 8pm

Responsibilities:

Perform gowning for Grade C environment
Carry out the daily tasks as assigned by the Production Manager according to GMP and the quality system. · Perform activities associated with the compounding of an ophthalmic batch.
·Prepare components and equipment for processing into a Grade C environment
Accurately complete documentation in a timely manner, accurately and legibly
.Keep the manufacturing area tidy and clean.
Participating in root cause analysis and problem-solving sessions
.Adhere to all company standards in the area of safety, housekeeping and quality, notifying management of any discrepancies
Follow gowning procedures on entry to Grade C area.
Set-up, clean and maintain equipment. Report any maintenance issues to the Production Manager and to the maintenance department.
To carry out any other duties as requested by the Production Manager.

Qualifications

2-3 Years working in a manufacturing environment
Experience working in a cleanroom environment would be advantageous. ·
Good computer skills ·
A Keen eye for detail and quality ·
Good communication skills ·
A team player ·
High level of professionalism and focus on the job

Where We Work

Role is exclusively performed at a site or office and onsite presence is required. Employees who are site/office-based and can occasionally perform their role virtually work both in the office and remotely*, following the policies and regulations in place at their location. US Employees must be in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. Three days in the office is the minimum; some individuals or teams may require more in-office days due to meetings, business/project needs or their role.
