Job Description

We are currently looking for a Unit Dose Compounding Manufacturing Technician at our site in Westport, Mayo

The Manufacturing Technician will perform various tasks to support the compounding & manufacturing of batches, testing filters, documenting batch related activities, housekeeping and environmental monitoring. This shift will be 12 hour Saturday, Sunday and Monday, 12 hours, 8am - 8pm

Responsibilities:

  • Perform gowning for Grade C environment
  • Carry out the daily tasks as assigned by the Production Manager according to GMP and the quality system. · Perform activities associated with the compounding of an ophthalmic batch.
  • ·Prepare components and equipment for processing into a Grade C environment
  •  Accurately complete documentation in a timely manner, accurately and legibly
  • .Keep the manufacturing area tidy and clean.
  •  Participating in root cause analysis and problem-solving sessions
  • .Adhere to all company standards in the area of safety, housekeeping and quality, notifying management of any discrepancies
  • Follow gowning procedures on entry to Grade C area.
  • Set-up, clean and maintain equipment. Report any maintenance issues to the Production Manager and to the maintenance department.
  • To carry out any other duties as requested by the Production Manager.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 Years working in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience working in a cleanroom environment would be advantageous. ·
  • Good computer skills ·
  • A Keen eye for detail and quality ·
  • Good communication skills ·
  • A team player ·
  • High level of professionalism and focus on the job
