Purpose
The Lead Maintenance Technician will provide expert leadership and technical support for the electrical, HVAC, and instrumentation repair and calibration teams. This role will serve as one of the primary points of contact for technical issues, ensuring tasks are executed efficiently and effectively. The Lead Technician will manage administrative duties, support initiatives for continuous improvement, and perform hands-on work when needed.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the operations of electricians, HVAC specialists, and instrumentation technicians.
- Serve as the supervisor in their absence, managing timecards and work orders with accuracy.
- Assist the supervisor with processing change requests for preventive maintenance updates.
- Provide performance feedback of tradespeople to the supervisor.
- Organize, prioritize, and manage the daily workload, including work distribution and follow-up, liaising with customers and management as required.
- Offer technical support for troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and operational challenges across all trades.
- Oversee and review the work order backlog for timely completion.
- Ensure adherence to Corporate and Divisional Policies, safety regulations, and compliance standards.
- Perform additional tasks and projects as specified by the Supervisor.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED with 10+ yrs. Experience or Relevant Certificate with 5+ yrs. experience or associates technical degree with 3+ yrs. of experience, or proficient in two or more skilled maintenance functions.
- CMRT (Certified Maintenance and Reliability Technician) or equivalent accreditation desired.
- Expertise in at least one skilled maintenance function, including HVAC, electrical, or instrumentation repair and calibration.
- Knowledge and ability to use advanced tools (i.e., machine tools, diagnostic tools, predictive tools)
- Valid driver's license
- Proficiency with Maximo CMMS, Microsoft Office, and Outlook.

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs.
