Ensure the successful delivery of complex IT projects by managing activities and team members, collaborating with users and the business to understand needs and requirements, and providing effective, high-quality systems solutions. The role also involves proactively supporting and optimizing the production environment, addressing ongoing system issues and needs, and fostering continuous improvement and innovation for the business and user community.
Responsibilities:
•Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures. Identifies current and emerging business needs and evaluates alternative strategies, methodologies and best practices.
•Develop group goals and objectives, monitor and control business production changes. Accountable for the accuracy of the fit of the proposed business process improvements, the technical solution of the business needs and the information upon which the business justification and prioritization decisions are made. Also accountable for communicating the business need and drivers to the development team to ensure the implementation phase can fulfill the business need.
•Develop and evaluate staffing plans for optimized support on key projects. Develops business relationships and integrates activities with BTS to ensure successful implementation and support of project efforts. Manage relationships between businesses involved and BTS to ensure effective communication and collaboration between the groups is occurring. Coordinates solutions and identifies interdependencies. Directs the work of peers and/or BTS staff on assigned projects.
•Utilizes formal SDLC to coordinate system development activities. Produces high quality system requirements for the design, development, testing, deployment and maintenance of procurement systems.
•Provide project status reports. Identify and define user needs. Analyze project proposals. Identifies process disconnects and translates them into improvement opportunities identifying cost savings, cost avoidance, and productivity improvements.
•Develop conceptual systems requirements. Develop systems integration requirements. Develop systems phasing plan. Define high-level requirements for system functionality. Establish integration needs for seamless interoperability with other systems. Advise process stakeholders on strategies to effectively achieve process improvement goals.
•Provide business systems and application consultation. Works directly with business units to understand specific business processes, business drivers and business strategies across multiple business units; identifies and communicates resulting needs and opportunities for business process improvement that can be enabled via technology.
•Provide problem tracking/management. Accountable for defect tracking and escalating issues as well as recommendations for corrective actions or process improvements. Verification of defect resolution. Partners with other BTOs to remain current on project status and inform management of progress; conversely, keeps BTS aware of user issues and resolves conflicts.
•Prepare and deliver presentations. Develop testing plans to ensure requirements and system design are thorough and accurate. Share essential details with the training manager to support the creation of training materials and user announcements regarding upcoming upgrades or changes. Present system updates or enhancements to key stakeholders. Review and revise existing system documentation as needed. Document business process, functional and technical specifications.
•Accountable for delivery of projects within scope, budget and time. Has defined authority and responsibility for a significant area of work, including technical, and quality aspects. Establishes organizational objectives and delegates assignments. Accountable for actions and decisions taken by self and team.
-Bachelor’s Degree with 6 years’ experience; Master’s Degree with 5 years’ experience in Business Information Services, or Computer Sciences preferred. PMI or PMP certification a plus.
-5+ years of Business/System Analysis and software testing experience
-Previous experience with Salesforce Required
-Preferred: Experience in professional consulting and program/project management; formal training in SDLC methodologies.
-Good analytical and problem-solving ability, creativity, and insight.
-Strong Documentation and Project Management skills
-Proven ability to motivate employees and create a positive working environment.
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills and a strong political awareness.

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs.

Where We Work
Role is primarily site- or office-based but can occasionally be performed remotely. Employees who are site/office-based and can occasionally perform their role virtually work both in the office and remotely*, following the policies and regulations in place at their location. US Employees must be in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. Three days in the office is the minimum; some individuals or teams may require more in-office days due to meetings, business/project needs or their role.
