AbbVie is seeking a Head of Business Excellence to lead the transformation of Business Excellence into a commercial growth engine for the Allergan Aesthetics portfolio. You will own the end-to-end Business Excellence strategy, spanning sales force effectiveness, strategic analytics, CRM operations, incentive design, and AI-driven insights while managing a high-performing team including an offshore Analytics Centre of Excellence. This role is accountable for translating data into clear, commercial insights with measurable business impact, ensuring a strong alignment between strategy and execution across ANZ.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define and lead Business Excellence (BE) strategy aligned to OP and portfolio priorities
- Own performance frameworks across revenue, adoption and repeat
- Deliver performance narratives to leadership
- Translate analytics into strategic insights, next best action and recommendations, embedding advanced insights into decision-making
- Provide NBA at injector, clinic and territory level
- Drive 'Insight → Action → Impact' framework
- Optimise sales productivity and field execution by leading call planning, targeting, and territory design
- Own target setting methodology to design and optimise Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) aligned to behaviour and growth priorities
- Drive analytics and behaviour outcomes and recommendations to the program
- Manage CRM & Operations, including owning Veeva CRM governance and segmentation
- Lead planning cadence and ensure data integrity
- Manage offshore analytics team and priorities
- Ensure quality, scalability and delivery of recommendations
- Define roadmap for predictive analytics and AI
- Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams and use data driven insights to influence decisions and drive alignment
- Lead and develop BE team capability and performance
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Optimize business processes to reduce costs and improve productivity.
- Report any adverse event within 24 hours as per Allergan’s policies and procedures.
- Proactively participate in AbbVie’s WHS programs, adhere to policies and always promote a safe work environment.
- Adhere to Allergan’s / AbbVie’s internal codes of conduct and compliance processes.
- Other ad hoc duties such as administrative duties, as requested.
- Tertiary qualification (preferred finance, data and analytics, business).
- Minimum 5 years SFE or similar experience in healthcare or related industries (Sales/In Field Team Effectiveness including Segmentation and Targeting, Sales Incentive programs, Analytics and Territory Design, CRM optimisation).
- People leadership experience is critical.
- Strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI.
- Comprehensive understanding of CRM processes and tools, preferably Veeva.
- Excellent presentation skills with confidence presenting to both large and small groups.
- Leadership skills/influence with demonstrated ability in coaching and developing others.
- Professional written communication skills with attention to detail.
- Very structured mindset and systematic process management capability.

Where We Work
Role is primarily site- or office-based but can occasionally be performed remotely. Employees who are site/office-based and can occasionally perform their role virtually work both in the office and remotely*, following the policies and regulations in place at their location. US Employees must be in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. Three days in the office is the minimum; some individuals or teams may require more in-office days due to meetings, business/project needs or their role.
