Job Description

For our Campoverde site we are searching for a Global Trade Compliance Jr. Analyst, with the purpose to support the import/export operational and compliance activities on daily transaction and assist efforts at the Campoverde site to ensure adherence with laws, improve operational efficiency, and facilitate reduction of tariff and non-tariff barriers at AbbVie Emea and Singapore manufacturing sites.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with EMEA Analysts to resolve day-to-day issues that result in border delays.
  • Help ensure that all import/export transactions are in compliance with European Customs Law.
  • Support activities related to customs request for information on import/export transactions and post entry review of documentation.
  • Assist in the management of trade data for EMEA (i.e. tariff code, country of origin) and support monitoring of the system in which they are maintained
  • Help support import/export/duty management projects that focus on driving efficiencies or cost savings for the company (e.g. IP)
  • Assist in the execution of the self-audit program to ensure continued compliance with customs law and internal policies on exports and imports

Qualifications

  • Proficient in English
  • Bachelor degree or relevant working experience in a related field (e.g. international trade, supply chain, logistics)
  • Min. of 1 years of experience working in a broker’s agency, logistics service provider or multinational company
  • Computer Skills. Excellent ability managing Microsoft Access, Excel, powerpoint & SAP.
  • Basic knowledge of import and export regulations and activities, etc.
  • Proactive and well organized
  • Good communications skills
  • Experience with SAP is a plus
