The Gross to Net Team, part of the US Therapeutics Pricing organization manages sales reporting of ~$70 billion rebates/discounts and ~$44 billion annual net sales. Quarterly reserve reconciliation of ~$16 billion in rebates and contra-receivable balances. Responsible for related systems/systems issues surrounding sales reporting and reserve reconciliation and analysis.
The Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting accurate recording, analysis, reporting and strong control and compliance processes for GTN Contra AR & Copay. This role partners closely with Commercial CoPay CoE, Price Forecasting, Pricing CoE, and Systems teams to ensure GTN estimates are properly forecasted, documented, and reconciled in accordance with AbbVie policies, US GAAP, and internal control requirements.
Main Roles/Responsibilities:
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare and review monthly/quarterly GTN accounting entries (accruals, true-ups, reclasses) and related journal entry support.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts for coupons and contra receivables, investigate variances, and ensure timely resolution.
- Analyze GTN drivers and trends and provide commentary on key movements.
- Lead the reasonableness process and create consistent reporting across the other GTN channels for Base/Pipeline.
- Prepare coupon and contra receivable balance sheet account forecasts LBE, Plan, and LRP.
- Prepare documentation for SOX controls OTC 063 and OTC 074.
- Ensure GTN processes, assumptions, and methodologies are documented, auditable, and in line with AbbVie accounting policies.
- Support internal and external audit requests by preparing analyses, explanations, and documentation for GTN accounts.
- Partner with CoPay CoE, Price Forecasting, Pricing CoE, and Systems teams to ensure end-to-end GTN integrity.
- Support the one-pager discussion related to coupons across all products.
- Maintain PO tracking and support the procurement process with the CoPay COE.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and automate GTN accounting and reporting processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration required.
- 2+ years of relevant experience in Finance or Accounting.
- Must have strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills, along with good interpersonal skills to effectively work with all levels of management.
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint technical and content skills. Blackline and Kernel systems experience desired.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to summarize complex topics for varied audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ownership mindset, with a focus on end-to-end process accountability and continuous improvement.
- Collaborative, team-oriented working style.

Where We Work
Role is primarily site- or office-based but can occasionally be performed remotely. Employees who are site/office-based and can occasionally perform their role virtually work both in the office and remotely*, following the policies and regulations in place at their location. US Employees must be in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. Three days in the office is the minimum; some individuals or teams may require more in-office days due to meetings, business/project needs or their role.
