Job Summary:
The Logistic Coordinator will play a pivotal role in steering the Logistic Planning within the Supply Chain framework of AbbVie's Gulf-Levant Affiliate. This position requires an analytical approach to synchronize demand forecasting with improved logistics processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Free of Charge (FOC) Policy Process: Oversee all key stages of the FOC process, from policy application through to execution and reconciliation. This includes closely monitoring distributors’ sales reports and ensuring they provide stock reports in the defined format. Collaborate with Key Account Managers to validate the figures, ensuring accuracy and consistency. Additionally, confirm that proof of delivery for each transaction is submitted in a timely manner. Engage with both the distributors and the commercial team to maintain alignment and compliance throughout the process. Enhance Distributor Engagement: Establish a systematic exchange of information with distributors by setting up integrated communication protocols. This initiative should aim at ensuring timely and accurate data exchange, facilitating better coordination, and enabling swift resolution of issues, thereby improving overall supply chain responsiveness.
- Order Management: Reflect orders received in the internal order tracker, follow up on the status of goods delivery with the global supply and logistics team in the Netherlands and the US.
- Reporting: Provide and generate reports on order status to update management, commercial teams, and distributors on the current status.
- Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all logistics activities comply with regulatory requirements and company policies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of shipments, customs documentation, and other related paperwork.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement within the logistics function. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role within FMCG, Consumer Healthcare, or Pharma sectors, with regional exposure across multiple markets, preferably experienced with distribution models.
- A degree in Economics, Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferable.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel (Pivot Tables, Advanced Formulas).
- Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Resilience under pressure with the capacity to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, giving correct priorities to critical activities.

Where We Work
Role is primarily site- or office-based but can occasionally be performed remotely. Employees who are site/office-based and can occasionally perform their role virtually work both in the office and remotely*, following the policies and regulations in place at their location. US Employees must be in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. Three days in the office is the minimum; some individuals or teams may require more in-office days due to meetings, business/project needs or their role.
