The Director of Digital Learning is a strategic, forward-thinking leader responsible for designing and implementing a cutting-edge digital learning ecosystem that delivers personalized and predictive learning journeys for field sales teams. This role owns the deployment and integration of advanced technologies, data analytics, and AI-driven solutions to maximize learning effectiveness and agility at scale. This leader transforms field sales learning by leveraging modern technology and analytics to deliver personalized, predictive, high-impact learning experiences that directly drive business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Architect and evolve the digital learning tech stack, selecting and integrating LMS, LXPs, content management, analytics, and AI-driven personalization platforms tailored for field sales roles.
- Drive the creation and delivery of adaptive learning journeys that respond to individual sales reps’ performance, behaviors, and skill gaps.
- Leverage data and analytics to predict learning needs, track engagement, and continuously optimize learning pathways for improved sales results.
- Partner closely with Sales Leadership, BTS, HR, and external vendors to ensure solutions are business-aligned, scalable, and secure.
- Establish best practices for user experience, mobile learning, social/collaborative features, and data privacy.
- Oversee technology roadmap, platform integrations, and vendor relationships to future-proof the learning stack and drive measurable impact.
- Champion a data-driven culture where learning impact is tracked, communicated, and continuously improved.
- Compliance and Governance: Ensure all digital learning materials comply with MRP.
- Demonstrates enterprise-wide leadership by modeling fiscal responsibility, aligning digital solutions with other internal L&D teams, and ensuring the appropriate allocation of resources to maximize value and effectiveness.
Essential Skills:
- Strategic Vision & Leadership: Ability to develop and communicate a clear digital learning strategy aligned with sales objectives.
- Learning Technology Expertise: Deep understanding of learning platforms (LMS, LXP), integration, and emerging tech like AI-powered personalization and analytics.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Proficiency in leveraging analytics to drive learning effectiveness, measure business impact, and optimize learning journeys.
- Solution Architecture: Skills in architecting and integrating a scalable, secure digital learning ecosystem including vendor management and platform evaluation.
- Project & Program Management: Proven ability to deliver complex, cross-functional technology initiatives on time and within budget.
- Collaboration & Influencing: Strong ability to partner with Sales, IT, HR, and external vendors to deliver integrated solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, computer science, data science or related field.
- 8-12+ years of progressive experience in learning and development, program management, or field training roles.
- Proven track record of leading digital training initiatives or transformation at scale and delivering measurable business value.
- Demonstrated expertise in LMS/LXP platforms, learning analytics, AI personalization, and digital content strategies.
- Strong leadership, strategic partnership, and vendor management skills.
- Fluency in emerging technology trends and digital tools.
- Thrives in a fast paced, high-growth, matrixed organization.
Preferred:
- Master’s Degree
- Proficiency in instructional design and/or adult learning principles.
- Sales experience and/or leadership in a matrixed environment.
- Experience in training at the leadership level, managing teams of experienced trainers.

Pay Range: $
156000 - 296500 USD
Where We Work
Role is primarily site- or office-based but can occasionally be performed remotely. Employees who are site/office-based and can occasionally perform their role virtually work both in the office and remotely*, following the policies and regulations in place at their location. US Employees must be in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. Three days in the office is the minimum; some individuals or teams may require more in-office days due to meetings, business/project needs or their role.
