Job Description

Business Services Group is a part of Finance Shared Services (FSS) that provides business support services across AbbVie and Allergan Aesthetics to drive efficiencies, business outcomes and ensure compliance.  Business Services Group plans and executes internal and external meetings for employees, HCPs, and Patients ensuring business outcomes in addition to meeting all regulatory and financial compliance requirements. 

 

The Consulting Account Manager I serves as the primary point of contact and partners with Business Owners and stakeholders across the organization to provide compliance and operational counsel for consultancy needs.  Specializing in Individual Consulting Events, they develop relationships with cross-functional partners to educate them on consultancy processes and ensure compliance requirements are met. The Consulting Account Manager I drafts and/or manages all of the consulting agreements associated with the activities they support.

Responsibilities

  • Review, approve and track all Individual Professional Consulting Activity Requests, aligning to US and Global Consulting policies, and is responsible for timely communication of status and issues that could impact program timelines.
  • Draft and execute all CCG managed agreements for US and Global Waiver countries,
  • Facilitate completion of affiliate managed agreements which includes collection and communication of all country specific requirements to the respective international contracting partner
  • Perform Fair Market Value (FMV) assessments and appeals to determine consulting rates
  • Perform all Logistical Compliance and country-specific requirements for consulting engagements, using NovaStar and associated policy and procedure documents to maintain compliance with AbbVie requirements
  • Provides support to business on consulting engagement process activities from beginning to end ensuring global compliance requirements, contracting, and timelines are met.
  • Provide support to consultants related to contract review, requests for revisions, and execution including follow-up communications.
  • Complete review of and/or pre-incorporate contractual terms for customized agreements where AbbVie Legal has determined appropriate

    Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 2-3 years professional work experience preferred; applicable work experience will be considered
    • Prioritize and execute tasks with speed, agility and accuracy
    • Demonstrated communication, customer service and problem-solving skills
    • Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and SaaS based computer programs

    Key Stakeholders 

    Business Owners across the enterprise including Commercial, Medical Affairs, R&D, Public Affairs, along with Legal and OEC colleagues.
