Job Description

The Content Manager, Allergan Medical Institute (AMI) is the responsible lead for the development, creation and implementation of the injector journey. This is a highly creative and collaborative role that drives a high standard of creation and innovation around content and curriculum that elevates the leadership of Allergan Aesthetics within the industry. The role is responsible for driving the evolution of AMI 2.0 and acts as the creative leader in driving a strategy that serves the needs of both Allergan Aesthetics and the injector community. You will work closely and actively engage with the AMI Faculty through development of a collaborative partnership anchored in co-creation to deliver engaging and differentiated content.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Development and implementation of the AMI injector curriculum with a focus on the Healthcare Professional (HCP) learner journey, co-creation, and digital enablement.
  • Thinking outside the box to develop content that is engaging, differentiated and drives engagement with injectors through exciting topics, content and HCP interactions, maintaining the leadership of Allergan Aesthetics in the industry 
  • Localisation of international content that fits the needs of the ANZ market, including leading new product launches and indications by driving the strategy behind the brands.
  • Develop a curriculum for all injector segments that meets the needs of the customer while remaining agile and innovative to provide a best in class injector journey.
  • Partnering with the AMI Faculty to co-create pathways, materials, and digital content.
  • Collaborate with AMI Faculty to drive co-creation of content and provide each injector segment with a clear learning pathway including co-creation of materials, publications, video, and digital content that support ongoing learning requirements across Face2Face, virtual and digital touchpoints.
  • Work cohesively with the marketing team to ensure the AMI strategy is a reflection of the broader Allergan Aesthetics strategy and the education is aligned with marketing campaigns and materials.
  • Engage AMI Faculty & Nurse Trainer managers to align the creation of content to the strengths and areas of interest of each faculty member and/or nurse trainer.  
  • Work closely with AMI faculty, nurse trainers and relevant AMI members to deliver briefings for AMI related executions.
  • Work closely with the Senior Manager, Centre of Excellence (CoE) strategy & Events to align the injector learning pathway with training opportunities within the CoE and external events.
  • Work closely with the Event Manager & Event Coordinator to align the activities related to the injector journey with all other AA executions.
  • Responsible for managing the AMI DW 3.0 platform and developing content for all injector segments.
  • Develop the digital strategy for the injector journey with cross functional collaboration to drive injector engagement and retention of DW users.
  • Embed all digital channels into the customer journey identifying future needs and solutions to drive the omnichannel approach.
  • Develop data analytics and user experience reporting with other digital leads and business excellence.

  • Develop and maintain all appropriate policies and processes to ensure a compliant framework is withheld in support of Allergan’s Aesthetics focus on ethics and integrity.
  • Adhere to all Allergan Aesthetics internal codes of conduct and compliance policies and processes.
  • Report any adverse event within 24 hours as per Allergan’s policies and procedures
  • Support Allergan’s Quality Management System and internal auditing processes.
  • Proactively participate in Allergan Aesthetics WHS programs, adhere to policies and promote a safe work environment at all times. 
  • Other ad hoc duties such as administrative duties, as requested.

Qualifications

  • Successful completion of relevant tertiary qualifications – science, healthcare or business related
  • Industry experience preferred
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in marketing or commercial roles within the pharmaceutical, medical device or related industry.
  • People leader experience preferred.
  • Strong commercial background with experience in development and implementation of strategy.
  • Passion and enthusiasm for education and driving behavioural change.
  • Ability to build relationships, collaborate and influence key external and internal stakeholders
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
