Job Description

Allergan Medical Institute® (AMI) is a department within Allergan Aesthetics (AA) with a unique offering of first-class medical education to the healthcare professionals (HCPs) to increase their knowledge in medical aesthetics and help them develop state of the art clinical practice.

1.  Delivers In-Clinic Services                                                                                     65-70%

Identifies educational need and develops recommendations to improve clinical performance of aesthetic practices through delivering a bespoke educational journey for each identified HCP. The number of supported clinics/HCPs contemporarily will be ~30 aligned with AA strategic and key account strategy. Establishes key performance indicators with the HCP in pursuit of supporting improved patient outcomes.

Focus will be Tier 2 & 3 HCPs (out of 4 defined Tiers, based on HCPs’ educational journey), but other Tier levels may require support as determined on educational need by the AMI Lead. Maintains a high level of service through reliable and timely follow-up after any interaction with HCPs and records all activity in VEEVA CRM.

2. Supports Online Education via MyExcellence                                                10%

Supports and promotes educational curricula within MyExcellence an AA-owned online platform that functions as a support platform for Allergan Aesthetics Center of Excellence (AA CoE) and Clinical Facilitation Educational Journeys offering 24/7 education to the HCPs. All with scope to further improve the level of clinical knowledge around AA products for clinicians within the local market. Delivering a value-added service, which helps clinicians and practice owners make informed decisions about patient assessment and treatment planning.

3. Supports AMI Lead in AMI Event Delivery                                                       20-25%

Supports with the delivery of key local AMI events as requested by the AMI Lead. Including, but not limited to, attendance at industry conferences & AMI meetings to engage with customers, plus for self-development and upskilling.

Key Stakeholders:

In clinic: Physicians; clinicians; practice owners/managers; practice staff.
Internal: AMI Lead; local marketing teams; sales force; country training manger; medical team & International AMI.


Qualifications

Key Requirements:

  • University degree in a clinically based subject ideally medicine, nursing or dentistry
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales or Clinical Facilitator role within the Aesthetics or FMCG industry is required
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Ability to drive a motor vehicle with a valid driver’s license
  • Fluent in written and spoken Italian and English
  • Travel: 80-85% of the time (field-based role), locally, nationally and potentially internationally including overnight travel; some weekend work may be required periodically
  • Excellent communication skills both written, oral and presentation.
  • Excellent facilitation skills in both group and one-one settings.
  • Excellent listening skills.
  • Treating people with respect interacting sensitively with others responding to concerns

Extra knowledge that is welcomed:

  • Proven experience in medical aesthetics industry
  • Experience in training/coaching including event management, preparation and delivery of workshops and other training solutions
  • Experienced in facilitation
