Role Summary:
Lead the Oncology Business Unit for Singapore, managing P&L, developing strategic direction for the oncology portfolio (marketed and pipeline brands), and ensuring business growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Portfolio & Business Leadership
- Develop and execute annual financial and strategic plans, as well as Long-Range Plans (LRP), to maximize portfolio performance.
- Oversee the product lifecycle, including new indications, formulations, and portfolio optimization.
- Collaborate with Market Access on reimbursement and pricing strategies, including tender management.
- Identify and pursue new growth opportunities via strategic partnerships.
2. Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and inspire the Brand Team in shaping brand strategy, optimizing positioning, and achieving targets.
- Drive sales and marketing alignment to deliver revenue, margin, and market share objectives.
- Foster a high-performance culture through talent identification, development, and succession planning.
- Enhance team competencies, including key account management and selling skills.
3. Operational Excellence & Compliance
- Coordinate with Supply Chain, Finance, and Distributors to ensure accurate forecasting, inventory, and shipments.
- Monitor budgets and expenditures to align resources with commitments.
- Ensure adherence to corporate, legal, and ethical standards and country regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (science or business preferred).
- Minimum 3-5 years of team leadership experience, ideally as a Business Unit Manager.
- Practical experience in oncology and in sales/marketing roles; strong business acumen.
- Proven ability to lead and coach teams, develop talent, and manage performance.
- Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills.
