We are pleased to announce the opening of a new position: Brand Manager Dermatology, based in Wavre. This role will play a key role within the Dermatology Business Unit, helping to shape the strategic direction of our Dermatology business in close collaboration with the Sales team and other cross-functional stakeholders.
The Brand Manager will be responsible for driving the brand strategy, strengthening our market positioning, and ensuring strong alignment across functions to deliver impact for patients and healthcare professionals.
A core part of the role will be to lead the understanding of patient experience insights across the Brand and In Field teams and to develop the Patient Journey, ensuring the Brand Team is focused on delivering patient-centric strategies, in line with AbbVie’s business code of conduct, policies, and all applicable laws and regulations.
Reporting to the Business Unit Manager Dermatology, the Brand Manager will be a core member of the cross-functional Dermatology team.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership & Planning
- Define and execute robust brand strategies and 1-year tactical plans in alignment with global/area objectives.
- Analyze market trends, competitor landscape, and unmet needs to identify growth opportunities.
- Synthesize insights from cross-functional teams and external partners for proactive decision-making.
- Brand Plan Execution
- Translate strategy into impactful projects and targeted campaigns, ensuring all deliverables reinforce the brand’s positioning.
- Lead creation and rollout of innovative, multi-channel marketing initiatives that resonate with all stakeholders.
- Engage opinion leaders and facilitate stakeholder dialogue to enrich brand strategy.
- Oversee development of interactive CLM content and ensure effective implementation and KPI tracking.
- Field Excellence Collaboration
- Align in-field materials and activities with strategic goals.
- Support the in-field team in segmentation and tactical execution to maximize impact.
- Patient Journey Excellence
- Collaborate on building an accurate patient journey by gathering diverse insights and driving cross-stakeholder workshops.

- Financial Management
- Co-lead sales forecasting and expense tracking for the brand team.
- Ensure budget discipline, ROI measurement, and continuous improvement in marketing investments.
- 3+ years professional experience, in scientific or healthcare domain.
- Demonstrated success in cross-functional and project management environments.
- Knowledge of supporting functions (Customer Excellence, Medical, Market Access, Finance, Sales, Consulting) is a plus.
- Proficiency in English + Dutch or French.
- Strategic vision and business acumen.
- Strong analytical and project leadership skills.
- Excellent communicator and influencer.
- Proven ability to build effective cross-functional relationships.
- Innovation-driven, accountable, and results-oriented.
- Experience in budget management and KPI tracking.

Where We Work
Role is primarily site- or office-based but can occasionally be performed remotely. Employees who are site/office-based and can occasionally perform their role virtually work both in the office and remotely*, following the policies and regulations in place at their location. US Employees must be in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. Three days in the office is the minimum; some individuals or teams may require more in-office days due to meetings, business/project needs or their role.
