Job Description

 

The Catering Associate is an entry level position that supports seamless food and beverage service for meetings, events, and daily catering needs. This role requires professionalism, attention to detail, and a strong customer-first mindset.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and arrange catering functions according to event orders and service standards.
  • Break down and clean event spaces and return equipment and supplies to proper storage.
  • Maintain high standards of food preparation, presentation, garnishing, and cleanliness.
  • Deliver and pick up catering orders across designated locations.
  • Replenish food and beverages promptly during events.
  • Provide professional, attentive service to guests and clients.
  • Ensure orders are complete, accurate, and on time.
  • Communicate effectively with the catering team, kitchen staff, event contacts, and management.
  • Follow all sanitation and food safety procedures. Keep catering areas, equipment, and vehicles clean and organized.
  • Drive company vehicles carefully and responsibly.

As a Catering Associate, you are expected to:

  • Demonstrate punctuality and reliability.
  • Maintain a polished, professional appearance.
  • Display a positive, customer-focused attitude.
  • Work collaboratively with teammates and support other departments when needed.
  • Uphold confidentiality and discretion in corporate dining spaces.
  • Remain adaptable and solution-focused when last-minute changes arise.
  • Execute catering events accurately, on time, and with professional presentation.
  • Maintain guest satisfaction and positive teamwork.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in customer service or hospitality preferred.
  • Foodservice experience preferred.
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Industry Sanitation Certification (ANSI, FDA, or ServSafe) required.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds, walk up to one mile, and stand for up to 4 hours consecutively.
  • Must possess and maintain valid driver's license

  • The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at  the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors  including  geographic location, and we may ultimately  pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be  modified in the future. ​

  • We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off (vacation, holidays, sick), medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.​

  • This job is eligible to  participate in our short-term incentive programs.  ​
