Accountant and member of PTP (procure to pay) in a global company, which operates on the principle of Shared services:

• Processing of incoming invoices and partial accounting in SAP
• Completion of accounting documents, pre-accounting, determination of VAT and tax deductibility of cost items from accounting documents
• Active communication and cooperation with the shared service team - checking the correctness of accounting, assistance in clearing supplier accounts, solving problems between the supplier and the shared service team.
• Accountant and contact person for the clinical trials department regarding invoices and payments.
• Communication and cooperation with the Affiliate finance service team and global Tax and Accounting departments.
• Processing and cross-checking of interim payments

Minimum qualifications:

Secondary school

• knowledge of accounting and tax principles
• knowledge of VAT

Min 2 years’ experience

Good computer skills especially Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point,

• SAP, Concur is advantage

Upper Intermediate knowledge of English

Czech or Slovak language is must 

Good communication skills

Accuracy in work with numbers and detailed oriented

Preferred qualifications/experience:

Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting

1-2 years’ experience in accounting,

Experience with SAP preferred but not required

Problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills

Must be able to work independently.

Systems:

SAP

Intermediate to Advanced Excel

Technical Knowledge:

at least Fundamentals of accounting, tax and VAT principles

knowledge of local laws – tax and accounting
