A3, a full-service pharmaceutical advertising agency is hiring for an Account Supervisor who will be responsible for independently leading daily account activities (US & Global) for assigned pharmaceutical brand(s), encompassing strategic planning, marketing communication development, tactical implementation, and collaboration with agency partners. This role serves as the primary liaison between A3 and the AbbVie brand teams, and ensures client satisfaction through quality work, demonstrating the value of our partnership and services, and responsiveness to meet their business objectives. This role may also manage direct reports depending on the needs of the business.
This position reports to a Group Account Manager.
This is a hybrid role and requires the ability to come to our Mettawa, Illinois office a few days per week.
Responsibilities:
- Understand annual brand objectives and strategies to effectively execute initiatives aligned with those goals.
- Lead the creation of client deliverables from initiation to completion, ensuring timely, budget-friendly, and strategically aligned completion
- Provide clear communication with clients and internal teams to verify that account status, meetings, and deliverables are progressing in alignment with objectives
- Maintain knowledge of AbbVie guidelines including, but not limited to, corporate branding, promotional material development, PromoMats review and corporate compliance.
- Possess a thorough understanding of product attributes, marketing objectives, target audience, competitive environment, market dynamics and medical/regulatory/legal position.
- Maintain an intimate understanding of the Agency Workflow Process including project initiation and kickoff, collaboration, necessary approvals, production and archiving.
- Collaborate with the brand team in the development of creative briefs
- Recommend key promotional tactics that align with the strategy and goals of the brand.
- Facilitate ongoing, timely and accurate communications to ensure all projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Bachelor degree required.
- 7+ years experience, preferably in a pharmaceutical agency environment.
- Excellent communications skills: verbal, presentation, written.
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills.
- Comfortable in a high-visibility role.
- Ability to manage high volume project scope in a fast paced creative environment.
- Great collaborator with ability to focus on both the big picture and small details.

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
