Analyst
 

Position purpose

To support providing all financial information with detail analysis and monitor the business performance, through the provision of insights on operating results, early input to potential business opportunities and risks, with the overall objective of supporting the business with achievement of business targets.

Major tasks and responsibilities of position

1. Support development & monitor Annual Budgets/Plan by detailed analysis
2. Conduct actual month/Quarter end closing based on division/local guideline and time line
3. Prepare monthly financial reports with actual analysis, advice on the key findings, strengths & weakness and contribution margin results to support steering future business development.
4. Identify areas/opportunities of costs savings in business operations
5. Fulfill Division and Area planning & reporting requirements, ensure the efficient and effective communications between division/area and local business partners, Answer all reporting related requirement and inquiries from divisions
6. Ensure financial, business operation, and statutory regulations issues early detective and meanwhile identify potential impacts and give advice from financial perspective to related departments.
7. Strengthen & improve financial information system to ensure data integrity and transparency, which finally support the insightful advice on operating result.
8. Responsible for reporting consistency and integrity, including compliance to applicable Statutory, Accounting and Legal requirements. Support external and internal audits. Ensure compliance to Abbvie business operating guidelines.

Senior Analyst

Position purpose

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business discipline (preferably with MBA (Finance) or Professional Accounting certification (e.g. CPA).
2. At least 1-3 years progressive work experience in Finance function. Excellent Financial Accounting, Controlling, Analytical & Reporting skills.
3. Business-level or higher English proficiency for work-related tasks is required.
4. Strong inter-personal and communication skills, comfortable working in a complex matrix organization.
5. Knowledge of financial reporting system, operation tools and MS Excel skills.

Senior Analyst

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business discipline (preferably with MBA (Finance) or Professional Accounting certification (e.g. CPA).
2. At least 3-5 years progressive work experience in Finance function. Excellent Financial Accounting, Controlling, Analytical & Reporting skills.
3. Business-level or higher English proficiency for work-related tasks is required.
4. Strong business acumen, coupled with a good balance of strategic thinking and operational rigor
5. Strong inter-personal and communication skills, comfortable working in a complex matrix organization.
6. Knowledge of financial reporting system, operation tools and MS Excel skills.
