The Trade & Pricing Analyst works closely with the Trade Channel Lead and cross-functional teams to define commercial strategies which cover pricing policies, The Allergan Partner Privileges (APP) Loyalty Program and Internal Commercial Systems. You will assist in key customer contract development, including implementation and assessment, product launch strategies and price positioning and the promotional campaign design, execution and post-event analytics.
The role leads day to day engagement with cross-functional partners to drive mutual agreements, acts as the project lead on key Trade & Pricing initiatives, including competitive defense strategies formulation, and conducts in-depth financial analyses and scenario modelling to help inform strategic decisions. You will play a key role in monitoring KPI selection & performance tracking and other relevant commercial initiatives that drive net revenue growth for the organisation.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain the integrity and accuracy of the APP loyalty program
- Lead the Management Upgrade Process and ensure documentation is maintained
- Analyse price and promotion projects to financial modelling, cross-functional alignment, KPI design and tracking and post event analysis.
- Supporting the evolution of APP loyalty program, customer segmentation, targeting and driving overall automation of internal commercial systems
- Maintain Corporate Contracts tracking and follow up with open action items cross functions
- Support corporate customer contract design and data analytics, on-going performance tracking and forecasting as well as coordination with Sales and Legal in preparation of contracts and extensions as needed.
- Supporting the evolution of commercial policy in ANZ around Corporate contracts structure and performance and APP
- Evolving contract structures with increasing Customer Archetypes, analysing potential opportunities and risks
- Manage the process of New Customer Welcome pack and Lost Customer activation
- Analyse and report on utilisation of Training Schools and Free of Charge Stock
- Design and maintain Power BI (or other platform) dashboards for internal stakeholders
- Evaluate product launch and customer opportunities, data and analytical support for go-to market strategies around pricing/promotions, customer segmentation/targeting and define & evaluate success.
- Market & competitor activity monitoring
- Ensure adherence to commercial policies, support continuous improvement, regular assessment and relevant internal/external communication to stakeholders.
- Obtain and document internal approvals for Trade & Pricing commercial activities, adhering to internal policies, local laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and accuracy for audit inquiries.
- Conduct internal presentations, assisting in educating Sales teams to share best practices and educate cross-functionally the APP Loyalty program and Trade & Pricing processes
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Customer Master, Material Master, Business Excellence, BTS) to operationalize key initiatives, striving for flawless system implementation and optimal customer experience.
- Report any adverse event within 24 hours as per Allergan’s policies and procedures.
- Proactively participate in AbbVie’s WHS programs, adhere to policies and promote a safe work environment at all times.
- Adhere to Allergan’s / AbbVie’s internal codes of conduct and compliance processes.
- Other ad hoc duties such as administrative duties, as requested.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience post degree in a relevant field in Business/Finance/Economics/Statistics etc
- Financial modelling, scenario testing, simplifying complex business situations to strategic decisions
- Familiar with Commercial policies, rebates and discounts structures
- KPI dashboard designs, tracking and reporting sales performance
- Ability to build strategic work relationships across functions within the organization
- At least 3-5 years or more relevant experience
- Preferred experience working in a multi-national organization in FMCG/Pharma/Finance
