Purpose
As a member of AbbVie’s Business Technology Solutions (BTS) Talent Acquisition Team, you will support professional talent recruitment efforts for all technical verticals within the BTS function. You will implement sourcing and talent attraction strategies for both current and emerging roles using an array of recruitment resources, including but not limited to SmartRecruiters ATS and CRM, LinkedIn Recruiter and Talent Insights, external partnerships and conferences, etc.
With our continued growth and the ever-changing tech landscape, your responsibilities may expand to recruiting for new profiles, supporting business expansions, and meeting ambitious hiring timelines. To be effective, you will need to become familiar with the broader AbbVie functional ecosystem, our tech stack, and external technology market and candidate trends, ensuring that your talent acquisition approach is well aligned with our business needs and the broader market.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for attracting top junior tech talent and consulting with hiring managers to build a qualified, pre-screened candidate pool for current openings.
- Manage an average of 15-25 active requisitions simultaneously.
- Full-cycle recruitment responsibilities include but are not limited to leading strategic intake calls with hiring managers, posting roles, sourcing and screening talent, facilitating interview processes, proposing offer packages using equity & market analysis data, negotiating offers, upholding candidate and hiring manager experience, serving as a business advisor.
- Utilize tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter) to identify hard-to-find talent and inform talent sourcing / hiring decisions with market data and insights.
- Update ATS in real time for data integrity, achieve recruiting metrics and report key accomplishments.
- Additional job duties include sourcing and assessing passive candidate knowledge, skills and capabilities to build robust, qualified talent pipelines based on critical job profiles.
- Ensure compliance to state/federal employment laws and AbbVie policies and practices for applicant tracking compliance and reporting metrics.
- Serve as a true partner by collaborating with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs), including HR Business Partners, to align hiring manager and enterprise objectives.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 2+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience in a fast-paced corporate or agency environment required. 5+ years preferred.
- Experience managing passive and active talent sourcing, screening and hiring for technical job profiles required.
- Must convey professionalism, operate with executive presence and have a demonstrated ability to tactfully manage challenging conversations and influence without authority.
- Big Tech or large, multinational company experience strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting both high-volume (recurrent profile) hiring and niche profiles preferred.

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs.

Pay Range: $
64000 - 122000 USD
Where We Work
Role is primarily site- or office-based but can occasionally be performed remotely. Employees who are site/office-based and can occasionally perform their role virtually work both in the office and remotely*, following the policies and regulations in place at their location. US Employees must be in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. Three days in the office is the minimum; some individuals or teams may require more in-office days due to meetings, business/project needs or their role.
