In our Operations Team at Ludwigshafen site, you will join a team of talented people and experienced experts in the manufacturing and global distribution of our approved and pipeline products – working with some of the most advanced technologies in the world.
Develop your expertise and join our team as Tech Center Manager (all genders).
Together we support the manufacturing processes of existing and new products with a particular focus on hot melt extrusion and the packaging of solid dosage forms and combination products across the entire product life cycle including transfer, validation, and manufacturing in a cGMP environment.

Make an impact:
With a lot of experience and even more passion, you will be leading a team of scientists and engineers driving and owning new product introductions, product transfers and scientific support for established products.
This means you:
- Plan, implement and monitor projects in terms of resources, milestones and budget
- Carry out continuous improvement projects, technology transfers and lead local project teams
- Introduce new products into production through process performance qualification
- Develop project plans in line with the defined strategy and apply regulatory requirements
- Support development of business cases and drive project expense budgeting
- Develop and implement of strategic goals for the department
- Develop and optimize processes and procedures for the manufacturing and packaging of solid dosage forms, combination products and medical devices
- Lead investigations and RCAs for potential deviations that impact product quality
- Represent the department as an expert on current and new products in inspections
This is how you make a difference:
- Technical education background - Master in Industrial Pharmacy, Chemistry or Engineering
- 8+ years related work experience including R&D in late stage projects, plant operations and/or packaging of medicines and devices
- 5+ years related work experience in project/program management and change management
- Sound knowledge of design and technology transfers as well as production-scale manufacturing and packaging
- Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams in a matrix environment, strong people leading skills
- Highly motivated, self-driven and results-oriented with excellent communication skills in a global international environment and with senior management
- Ability to develop and manage financial related elements of a project; strong business acumen including project accounting and cost accounting.
