Talent Acquisition Specialist, UK
- Based in the offices in Maidenhead & Marlow (3 days a week) with 2 days flexible working.

Overview:
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for attracting and assessing high caliber candidates across several departments in a timely manner. You will have full responsibility for the end-to-end recruitment process including offer negotiation and managing the ATS and other systems. You will also be a key partner to the different stakeholders in the process as well as other projects to help raise the bar in recruitment standards.
Highlighted key responsibilities:
- Working with appropriate stakeholders, understand the hiring requirements in order to proactively source high calibre, qualified candidates in defined timelines and parameters e.g. remuneration
- Act as a consultant to the business and other stakeholders in defining and implementing sourcing strategies to attract the best talent into the organisation
- Develop deep understanding of the organisation and strategies in order to ensure talent meets both current and future needs
- Fully utilise direct sourcing strategies and internal networks to minimise use of external agencies
- Confidently screen and assess applicants and respondents to create the strongest possible shortlist of candidates.
- Positively engage and promote Equality, Diversity and Inclusion through the recruitment process.
- Ensure full utilisation of the ATS tool to ensure accurate data for reporting
- Clearly and in a timely fashion, manage all communications with internal and external contacts.
- Manage interview arrangements including coaching managers in using competency-based interviews as appropriate.
- Work collaboratively with TA colleagues both in the UK and wider geographies.
- Define, build and manage the Talent Pipeline for critical roles in the UK.
- Identify opportunities to enhance AbbVie’s employer brand and work with appropriate partners to exploit these opportunities
Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience
- Strong track record of sourcing and recruiting in the Pharmaceutical/Healthcare/Life Sciences market.
- A desire to constantly raise the bar and a passion for innovation!
- Ability to work in a Matrix environment and be part of a much wider HR Team and Global TA community.
