Your role:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will play a critical role in driving full-cycle recruitment efforts across assigned business units. This role partners closely with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to attract, assess, and hire top-tier talent aligned with AbbVie’s culture, compliance standards, and strategic business goals.
The ideal candidate is data-driven, highly collaborative, and experienced in recruiting within regulated or complex corporate environments.
You will be responsible for:
- Manage full-cycle recruitment process (intake meeting through offer negotiation and onboarding transition).
- Partner with hiring managers to define talent needs, workforce planning, and sourcing strategies.
- Develop proactive sourcing strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, networking, referrals, and talent pipelines.
- Ensure a best-in-class candidate experience aligned with AbbVie’s employer brand.
- Conduct behavioral-based interviews and coordinate assessment processes.
- Track and report recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, diversity hiring metrics, funnel conversion rates).
- Support diversity, equity & inclusion initiatives through inclusive sourcing practices.
- Collaborate with HR, Compensation, and Hiring Leaders on offer strategy and negotiations.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Pre-requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Deep experience in full-cycle recruiting experience;
Experience recruiting in healthcare, pharmaceutical, biotech, or other regulated industries preferred;
Proven ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously;
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills;
Experience working in a global organization;
Familiarity with Workday or other enterprise ATS systems;
Experience recruiting for technical, scientific, or commercial roles.

Where We Work
Role is primarily site- or office-based but can occasionally be performed remotely. Employees who are site/office-based and can occasionally perform their role virtually work both in the office and remotely*, following the policies and regulations in place at their location. US Employees must be in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. Three days in the office is the minimum; some individuals or teams may require more in-office days due to meetings, business/project needs or their role.
