Job Description

The Talent Acquisition team are seeking an ambitious TA Specialist to lead members of our TA Coordinator team in the areas of interview scheduling, pre-employment processing and overall candidate care. Incumbent will not only lead this team but play a hands-on role delivering similar services to the business as well as work on ad hoc projects to advance our operational excellence and candidate experience.  This is a developmental role designed to give the incumbent significant experience and exposure to roles within Talent Acquisition.

Responsibilities:

  • Interviews:
    • Domestic, International and Executive Candidate Interview Coordination
    • Coordinate travel, process reimbursements, pre-employment screenings
    • Provides high touch customer service to candidates, hiring mangers and administrative staff, ensuring a positive candidate/hiring manage experience
    • Serve as an expert consultant for executive hiring experience.
    • Maintain poise and demonstrate adaptability in high-pressure situations.
  • Coordinator Leadership:
    • Lead the onboarding of new coordinators and manage team of coordinators.
    • Coordinate weekly coordinator calls and manage interview scheduling distribution.
    • Coordinate quarterly coordinator meetings and all training.
    • Ensure consistency of coordinator processes and positive candidate experience.
  • Job Accommodations:
    • Act as the Job Accommodations TA Coordinator, responsible for assisting employees with work restrictions to find a job within AbbVie.
    • Be the point of contact for displaced employees, provide access to the job posting system, provide general coaching on applying for positions, updating resumes, broadening search criteria, etc.
    • Document and report on all Talent Acquisition activities, provide updates to Job Accommodations & Talent Acquisition Team and update employee on the application process.
    • Sales Launches/Expansions, Conference, Career Fairs & Special Projects
    • Support conference and career fair recruitment activities. Coordinate AbbVie’s participation in career fairs; participate in pre- and post-conference recruitment efforts.
    • Support sales launches/expansions
    • Act as an AbbVie recruiting representative during career fairs.
    • Project Team lead for HR/Talent Acquisition initiatives, including process ownership for the Sunshine Act, Debit Card Process, Background Check Escalations, Market Access Agenda
    • Other projects or administrative responsibilities as applicable

Significant Work Activities: Continuous sitting for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hr day) is required


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 2-4 years experience in HR, Talent Acquisition, and career fair coordination
  • Managing competing priorities
  • Stakeholder management—seamless communication with varied audiences to provide strategic guidance to the business
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Experience interacting with executives and admin assistants
  • Experience scheduling executive interviews and travel
  • Experience supporting Job Accommodation activities
  • Report preparation and presentation experience
  • Experience with Excel, Outlook, BCD Travel & Concur

Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
