The Supply Analyst will be responsible for managing overall product supply for assigned Canadian product portfolio. The supply Analyst will be accountable for ensuring optimal inventory levels, oversight of the reworks at the third-party packager and other local supply chain activities. The role works closely with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to improve forecast accuracy and understand overall business strategies and ensure it is translated to local operations. Act as the primary point of contact with Global Supply Planning team and provides technical support with SAP and planning processes within Canada and identifying opportunities for improvements and implementing solutions.
Key responsibilities:
- Plan and control the finished product inventory levels including but not limited to some products that are not operating under the global supply planning model.
- Work closely with the Global Planners to ensure future supply supports optimal inventory levels including but not limited to review of product dating, safety stock parameters, minimum order quantities, removal days, etc.
- Lead potential backorder and/or escalation meetings to communicate with key local and global stakeholders and determine path forward to avoid and/or minimise supply disruptions.
- Work closely with Customer Service/Trade to allocate inventory on an as need basis.
- Prepare and lead the weekly S&OE process and follow up on action plan as aligned with Commercial and Local Forecasting teams.
- Provide key inventory highlights for the local S&OP meeting.
- Ensure seamless coordination of Direct Purchases of inventory with suppliers of identified products.
- Ensure seamless coordination of 3rd party packaging activities with supplies as well as local and global affiliates partners.
- Ensure coordination of intracompany orders for replenishment within the Canadian network of distribution centers, ensure optimal weight and space utilization for each load in accordance with the shipping schedules.
- Participate in internal and external audits.
- Prepare all financial reporting in a thorough and timely manner including but not limited to yearly inventory plan, days on hand, inventory reserves, obsolescence, ABC calculations and justification, etc.
- Submit Request for Change to the Master Arrival Schedule (RCMAS) to Global Planning for supply adjustments within frozen time fence.
- Responsible to maintain the Global Backorder and potential Backorder reports.
- Responsible to maintain the inbound tracker
- Attend and support monthly/quarterly NPI Process as needed.
- Support Distribution and Logistics team with ongoing operations and special projects as needed.
Education / Experience required:
- Knowledge and experience in the life science, pharmaceutical and/or medical device industry is required.
- Education in field of expertise like operations, supply chain management, business, is required.
- A certification in supply chain from APICS, certified production and inventory management (CPIM) and/or Lead would be asset.
- Working understanding of finished goods planning concepts and enterprise resource planning (ERP) tool is required.
- Hands on experience working with multiple partners to resolve exceptions and negotiate lest alternatives.
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar position with experience in project management.
Essential skills and abilities:
- Must have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills to coordinate with third-party providers and cross functional stakeholders.
- Experience with integrated management software (inventory and purchase planning management system)
- Must have experience in SAP S4HANA.
- Ability to solve problems, manage time effectively, and be able to multitask and prioritize efficiently.
- Strong mathematical abilities and skills.
- Advanced experience and knowledge of business software (Excel/Word/PowerPoint/etc.)
- Demonstrate initiative in decision-making processes.
- Able to gather data, develop creative solutions, and clearly communicate results of analysis in verbal and written format aligning message to audience.
- Strong collaborator: able to work with teams of people with varying opinions and agendas, while focusing on team results and balancing trade-offs of different stakeholders

Where We Work
Role is primarily site- or office-based but can occasionally be performed remotely. Employees who are site/office-based and can occasionally perform their role virtually work both in the office and remotely*, following the policies and regulations in place at their location. US Employees must be in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. Three days in the office is the minimum; some individuals or teams may require more in-office days due to meetings, business/project needs or their role.
