Job Description

Join our team as a Supply Chain Planner on our Sligo Manorhamilton Rd site in a 12-month fixed term contract, where you'll play a vital role in optimizing product availability and managing the flow of products and materials. This forward-thinking role requires you to be a central communication link between the plant and market, ensuring customer demands are met while maintaining cost and quality compliance. Ideal candidates are self-starters with outstanding analytical and communication skills, looking to grow their careers by maximizing supply chain effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize inventory, minimize stockouts, and reduce lead times.
  • Create accurate demand forecasts and inventory plans.
  • Collaborate with procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and sales teams for timely delivery.
  • Monitor supply chain performance metrics and implement improvements.
  • Identify supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Manage supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, procurement costs, and supplier performance.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in supply chain planning.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant Technical or Business discipline; APICS certification is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MRP/ERP systems, especially SAP.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Commitment to quality, integrity, and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with supply chain management software, Lean Six Sigma principles.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
