Job Description

The Strategic Project Lead for Intercontinental will prioritize moving the Customer Excellence team forward. Leading efforts to innovate our processes, enhance our culture, and lead strategic projects that drive business results. 

 

Responsibilities:

 

 

Lead multiple medium-to-large projects throughout the entire Project Development Life Cycle. 

 

 

Establish and maintain project plans, budgets, risk assessments, and progress reports. 

 

 

Collaborate with cross-functional teams on task assignments, deliverables, and scheduling. 

 

 

Contribute to strategic discussions with project sponsors, stakeholders, and leadership. 

 

 

Assist in resource utilization for project planning activities. 

 

 

Manage day-to-day project progress and communication. 

 

 

Track critical steps, outcomes, and final deliverables for project management reporting. 

 

 

Collect and consolidate data/reports to track performance against goals and strategy. 

 

 

Partner with intercontinental Commercial leaders to standardize processes and governance. 

 

 

Identify pain points and design solutions for governance and operational standards. 

 

 

Support commercial leadership with project updates, reports, and budget tracking. 

 

 

Lead planning and execution of Area-led events and forums. 

 

 

Analyze culture survey data and formulate strategic initiatives to enhance low scores elements. 

 

 

Execute approved culture-related initiatives with close tracking and progress reporting. 

 

 

Conduct focus groups and conversations to evaluate culture efforts and propose solutions. 

 

 

Drive innovation across the Intercontinental Area and all therapeutic areas. 

 

 

Establish innovation training, practices, and key performance indicators. 

 

 

Partner with commercial directors to address challenges through innovative techniques. 

 

 

Collaborate with IMCO/ICEX to ensure consistency in innovation approach and tools. 

 


Qualifications

Qualifications: 

 

•7+ years of experience, Degree preferred: BSc or BA, Relevant work experience in biotechnology or pharmaceutical company is required 

 

 

•Experience in Omnichannel leadership or experience of Omnichannel transformation in a Multi-National Pharmaceutical Company is highly desired.  Able to build and deliver a strategic plan and model, including P&L implications 

 

 

•Impeccable integrity, work ethic and commitment; Strong Strategic to operational experience and skills; Organized, detail-oriented personality with the ability to multi-task. 

 

 

•Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and proactively, possess high degree of planning, coordination, project management skills, with demonstrated ability to problem solve. 

 

 

•Ability to produce crisp and compelling presentations that are Executive-ready and deliver presentations and engagements with Senior Level leadership. 

 

 

•Team player with strong interpersonal skills who enjoys working in a collaborative firm culture; Builds strong relationships with peers and cross functionally with partners outside of team to enable higher performance. 

 

 

•Ability to manage complex matrix environments in an enabling function. 

 

 

•Executive presence: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Excellent leadership/influencing skills; adept at managing internal stakeholders and external communications. 

 

 

•Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and proactively, possess high degree of planning, coordination, project management skills, with demonstrated ability to problem solve and resolve conflict; Learns fast, grasps the 'essence' and can change the course quickly where and when required; Raises the bar and is never satisfied with the status quo. 

 

 

•Creates a learning environment, open to suggestions and experimentation for improvement; Intellectually curious, embraces the ideas of others, nurtures innovation and manages innovation to reality.

  • The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.​
