Job Description

The Sr. Technical Business Relationship Manager - Revenue Management role will be a strategic interface within BTS to drive business strategy development, solution discovery, service management, risk management, and relationship management with business stakeholders, primarily in support of the Model N (Powered by N) Revenue Management system. 

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Serve as a primary advocate and the relationship linkage between BTO and the business providing highly-valued strategic consulting level support and guidance for major BTO initiatives within the US Therapeutics Finance Pricing organization. Works with internal and/or external stakeholders as a thought leader to align technology solutions with business strategies as it relates to the Revenue Management functions.
  • Partners with Technical and Solution Architects to drive definition of technology objectives; recommends industry-leading solutions to support business needs. Identifies technology solutions to support business growth and productivity. Champions innovation.
  • Analyzes emerging technologies and works with business and BTO Leadership to translate implications of the new trends into an effective technology vision and strategy. Proactively seeks out strategic business opportunities for the application of new or existing technology capabilities within the Revenue Management space.
  • Identifies process disconnects and translates them into improvement opportunities with cost savings or avoidance, productivity improvements, or revenue generating business benefits.
  • Establishes and maintains a strategic relationship with appropriate level key stakeholders. Leads stakeholder (internal and, when appropriate, external) business planning and strategy meetings.
  • Participates in short- and long-term strategic planning sessions with Revenue Management stakeholders to improve business processes.
  • Determines and communicates the impact of proposed business process changes on Model N system configuration and relevant integrations, including the impact of any relevant statutory, internal or external regulations (e.g. Government Pricing methodologies and Medicaid regulations).
  • Accountable for BTO Demand initiation and coordination and the refinement of project requirements to enable accurate estimation.  Leads prioritization of BTO initiatives based on organization(s) needs/strategy, technology workload and budget.
  • Ensures the business need is addressed by the technical solution from a conceptual standpoint.
  • Promotes business knowledge of BTS process, roles, and procedures to ensure the best possible outcome.
  • Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate, Divisional and BTS Policies and procedures including SLC and SOX.

Experiences that make you a strong fit for this role:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 8 years’ experience; Master’s Degree with 7 years’ experience; or PhD with 3 years’ experience.
  • Experience supporting Financial Systems, including in-depth, expert knowledge of Revenue Management function and the Model N (Powered by N) application (both Commercial and Regulatory).
  • Ability to communicate problems in terms that are understandable to end users at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem resolution skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams towards task completion.
  • Experience reviewing and streamlining business processes, including gathering and documenting business requirements, developing and implementing new processes and procedures.
  • Solid experience with and understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
  • Ability to develop effective and compelling visualizations of key business and technology concepts.
  • Project financial planning and cost estimation experience.
  • Strong organizational capabilities with ability to manage multiple priorities.

Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
