Purpose:
The Sr. Operational Excellence Manager will be responsible for developing and driving the Operational Excellence culture for the NADL warehousing and logistics teams. The Sr. Manager will ensure the fostering of a culture of excellence, empowering the operations team to achieve high performance and ensure sustainable results. The strategy must incorporate the integration of business knowledge, process improvement methodologies and personal soft skills to deliver business performance and meet / exceed financial goals.
Responsibilities:
- Establish the Operational Excellence culture within the organization by defining action plans necessary to provide tools, training and expertise to support OpEx.
- Champion a data driven, problem solving culture to investigate issues and establish robust action plans.
- Demonstrate strong leadership and ability to develop scenarios and options aligned with the strategy and goals of the business.
- Own the metrics and KPI development and tools for the NADL team to ensure harmonization, effectiveness and ability to align with other regions.
- Identify opportunities to significantly reduce operating costs, cycle times and lead or direct the implementation efforts (including project management).
- Improve the capabilities of the organization by training and mentoring personnel on Operational Excellence tools.
- Lead strategy sessions with Senior Management and their teams.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders (including procurement, quality, BTS and finance).
- Establish and lead program teams to plan, execute, monitor cost, and performance to ensure that defined program goals are met.
- BS in Engineering or Science (required)
- Training in Lean and Six Sigma improvement methodologies (required)
- 5 years experience in biopharmaceutical production or related areas (required) and 8+ years of significant engineering and/or operational experience (preferred)
- Strong computer skills (required)

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

Pay Range: $
124500 - 236500 USD
Where We Work
Role is primarily site- or office-based but can occasionally be performed remotely. Employees who are site/office-based and can occasionally perform their role virtually work both in the office and remotely*, following the policies and regulations in place at their location. US Employees must be in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. Three days in the office is the minimum; some individuals or teams may require more in-office days due to meetings, business/project needs or their role.
