We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Senior Training Manager to join our Access and Reimbursement Training Team within the Oncology/Parkinsons division. The Senior Training Manager will drive the overall training strategy, process, analysis, instructional design, development, implementation, and evaluation of performance-focused training programs. This role is pivotal in continuously improving the capabilities of our Access and Reimbursement Training team and delivering impactful training initiatives with minimal guidance from training leadership. Additionally, this role will require close collaboration with oncology partners to ensure alignment and support of Oncology/Parkinsons-specific needs and goals.
This role is remote with up to 40% travel across the US.
Responsibilities
Driving Training Strategy and Process
- Lead the development of comprehensive training strategies to support the goals of the Access and Reimbursement Organization, with a specific focus on oncology and Parkinsons.
- Analyze current training processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Design and develop innovative training programs that address organizational needs and enhance employee capabilities.
Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation
- Conduct needs assessments to identify performance gaps and training requirements, particularly in the context of Oncology and Parkinson's access and reimbursement.
- Design modular and scalable training programs, including e-learning, instructor-led training, and blended learning solutions.
- Implement training programs across the organization, focusing on Oncology and Parkinson's, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through quantitative and qualitative measures.
- Implement findings from evaluations to refine and enhance training initiatives.
- Ensure compliance processes are followed, collaborate with Legal/OEC, and follow MRP guidelines.
Execution and Leadership
- Execute training initiatives with minimal guidance from training leadership.
- Proactively anticipate challenges and develop strategies to overcome them, ensuring successful program rollouts.
- Lead and mentor a team of professionals to deliver high-quality training experiences.
- Provide coaching and feedback to Access and Reimbursement and Vendor training partners, particularly within the Oncology and Parkinson's field.
Driving Business Results
- Evaluate training effectiveness and implement solutions that drive business performance.
- Use data and business metrics to measure the impact of training programs on organizational performance.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives based on training outcomes and business needs.
Partnership and Collaboration with Oncology and Parkinson Partners
- Partner closely with internal Oncology and Parkinson teams to ensure training programs support oncology-specific goals.
- Collaborate with Oncology and Parkinson's stakeholders to identify training needs and develop customized solutions.
- Engage with external Oncology and Parkinson partners to align training initiatives with industry standards and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree required, Master's Degree preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in a training role, preferably within the healthcare or life sciences industry, with a strong focus on Oncology and Parkinson's or related fields.
- 2+ years of Access and Reimbursement training experience preferred.
- Proven experience in developing and delivering performance-focused training programs.
- Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS), e-learning platforms, and training software.
- Ability to work independently and lead a team with minimal supervision.
- Strategic thinker with strong business acumen.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to build solid relationships and work collaboratively across teams.
- Approximately 40% travel.
