Job Description

HRConnect is the name for AbbVie-centric HR and Payroll support and services focused on providing excellent customer experience as a primary principle.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual with a passion for HR operations to join our team. This position is a key part of AbbVie’s Human Resource Operations group supporting the HRConnect delivery model and offers an exciting opportunity to expand skills and knowledge in HR and Benefits-related fields while supporting our employees, contributing to our company’s culture and business objectives. This position will work a hybrid work schedule (3 days in office) from one of the Lake County, IL AbbVie location.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for ensuring effective delivery and all operational aspects of SkinMedica and Refresh employee programs, including client satisfaction, demand planning and associated financial results.
  • Serve as strategic partner, developing marketing strategies and communication plan related to SkinMedica and Refresh employees’ program.
  • Responsible for overseeing managed vendor resources. Ensuring that vendor meets the company’s quality standards and delivers optimal value.
  • Provide project management support and/or lead continuous improvement projects or implementation of new programs related to benefits and other HR global programs.
  • Perform data analytics to provide insights and support for benefits operations and other HR global programs recommendations.
  • Act as a liaison with Centers of Excellence (COEs) for global processes, facilitating effective communication across multiple groups to ensure seamless collaboration and alignment.
  • Provide support to active and retired employees in the United States for escalated health and welfare issues that have not been resolved by external vendors or the HRConnect people experience team at an advanced level.
  • Oversee and address issues and data discrepancies with retirement vendors responsible for providing services to both active and retired employees.
  • Provide comprehensive data and documentation required for plan audits, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.
  • Engage proactively in HRConnect initiatives, projects, and goals, contributing to their successful execution and driving overall organizational effectiveness.

Significant Work Activities: Continuous sitting for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hr day) is required


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 5+ years experience required.
  • Project management or business/HR experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with ability to effectively communicate HR-related information to employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload to meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with HRIS systems is a plus
  • Builds strong relationships with peers and cross functionally with partners outside of team to enable higher performance
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills to effectively resolve employee inquiries and issue
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting to changing priorities and demands
  • Must work well in a team environment and be able to contribute independently.
  • Must be self-directed and able to handle concurrent projects at the same time with minimal supervision.

Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
