Key Responsibilities
- Conduct chemical process research and development supporting projects from pre-clinical stages through primary stability batches.
- Act as a lead engineer or reaction engineering lead to conceive & execute novel scientific research or development that achieves projects & area goals.
- Perform data-rich experimentation which enables development of detailed kinetic models.
- Perform mixing analyzes to inform the design of scale up & scale down experiments.
- Present technical approaches to cross-functional project teams, supporting strategic decisions with thorough insights & expertise.
- Proactively participate in cross-functional teams to develop novel reaction capabilities such as flow chemistry, photochemistry, electrochemistry to further develop technical capabilities to meet demands of pipeline.
Education & Experience
Must have a MS in Chemical Engineering or a related field & 3 years of academic &/or industry experience in reaction engineering or process development.
Of experience required, must have 3 years performing each of the following:
- chemical process research & development with a focus in reaction engineering;
- data-rich laboratory experimentation which enables the development of detailed kinetic models; &
- mixing analyzes to inform the design of scale up & scale down experiments.
Alternatively, PhD in Chemical Engineering or a related field & 1 year of academic &/or industry experience as an reaction or process development engineer.
Of experience required, must have 1 year performing each of the following:
- chemical process research & development with a focus in reaction engineering;
- data-rich laboratory experimentation which enables the development of detailed kinetic models; &
- mixing analyzes to inform the design of scale up & scale down experiments.
Experience may be gained concurrently. Any suitable combination of education, training & work experience accepted.
Salary Range: $140,837 - $178,500 per year.

Where We Work
Role is exclusively performed at a site or office and onsite presence is required. Employees who are site/office-based and can occasionally perform their role virtually work both in the office and remotely*, following the policies and regulations in place at their location. US Employees must be in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. Three days in the office is the minimum; some individuals or teams may require more in-office days due to meetings, business/project needs or their role.
