Support the AbbVie Product Development Science & Technology team as a member Analytical Development at the new ADC Center of Excellence in Waltham. Independently design, develop, optimize, and investigate separation-based methods and techniques. Develop productive collaborations and communications with other groups across science disciplines.
Responsibilities:
- Independently develop and optimize HPLC, CE, icIEF, and other analytical methods to support structural elucidation and physicochemical characterization of biologic components of ADC programs at various phases. Previous analytical experience with mAbs and ADCs is preferred.
- Apply extensive experience in separation and characterization of biologics with an in-depth understanding of structure and function.
- Serve as a technical SME for analytical method development, transfer, data interpretation, method troubleshooting, and improvements.
- Demonstrate high proficiency across a wide range of relevant technologies and serve as a mentor to junior lab personnel.
- Summarize results in detailed development reports and contribute to CMC sections of regulatory filings.
- Demonstrate creative thinking to solve difficult problems and champion new innovative technologies to achieve project goals.
- Actively participate in cross-functional teams within Product Development Science & Technology and provide support to external departments. Openly share scientific expertise and collaboratively help the team to generate rational solutions to problems.
- Generate new scientific proposals and lead those efforts. Anticipate and critically evaluate scientific or regulatory advances and respond with appropriate new strategies.
•Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education and typically 10 years of experience, Master’s Degree or equivalent education and typically 8 years of experience, PhD and no experience necessary.
•Possess thorough theoretical and practical understanding of own scientific discipline.

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs.
