This role will report into: Associate Business Consultant & Business Excellence Director, TW & HK.
The (Sr.) Sales Force Effectiveness Manager will be a key enabler of driving high performance of brand and in field teams to support the organizational growth. The role will specifically lead the team to own, align and deliver on new commercial capabilities and enable the business to be more customer centric, externally focused and innovative. The successful candidate will have an ability to thrive in an environment of rapid change and work effectively with cross-functional teams. He/she will make highly efficient, relevant, action oriented and innovative tailor-made recommendations to the leadership team for continuously improving customers’ experience and AbbVie’s engagement.
Responsible for the development & implementation of sales force effectiveness programs that optimize the performance of Taiwan & Hong Kong Sales Teams, facilitating the achievement of country sales-force productivity targets. Responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of the following:
In-Filed Team Excellence:
- Own and lead the end-to-end sales force planning process
- Utilize analytical tools to assess sales force effectiveness and productivity, monitor and analyze team performance on multiple quantitative and qualitative KPIs and provides conclusive reports and recommendations to local commercial and area team.
- Work with brand team to enable effective execution of brand strategies in the field by focusing to improve salesforce efficiency.
- Partner with Finance, HR, and country head in reviewing and optimizing sales incentive scheme.
Business Intelligence & CRM management
- Veeva CRM Database management: As a champion of Veeva CRM system, work with global data team to manage the Veeva database in a practical way and support international team have clear visibility to essential data.
- Sales database management: Manage sales data from distributor. Work with external agency to develop essential PBI dashboards to support commercial team’s needs.
- Harmonize data from Veeva and distributor system to set a strong foundation of data analysis.
- Analyze data to generate valuable insights and give professional advice to commercial team. Continuously improve key sales force business processes & performance (e.g., customer management, call plan, performance analysis, coaching, brand KPI & launch progress tracking, forecast accuracy enhancement…etc.)
- University degree in business administration, sciences, engineering.
- At least 8 years of solid experience in SFE or commercial excellence
- Solid knowledge on Veeva CRM, Sales Force Excellence tools and systems
- Solid knowledge in pharma or medical device area and knowledge of commercial aspects of finance principles and processes the business will be a strong advantage
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex data.
- High quality presentation and excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate a story persuasively using written and oral communication skills.
- Experienced in working cross functionally in a matrix organization. Ability to get work done through people, irrespective of reporting relationships. Must be able to influence upwards.
- Proficient in verbal and written communication (English)• People management & leadership experience.
