This is a unique opportunity to gain exposure and experience in the Pharma industry. You will manage the end to end recruitment process as well as manage projects, develop talent pipelines and work with the business leaders, hiring managers and the HR team to create an effective, quality and value-oriented recruitment strategy to attract talent.
The Senior Recruiter will lead and develop the recruitment strategy, for the roles that they are assigned to which include experienced hire positions (locally and globally) as well as support the Early Career team and EVP specialist in building the future talent pipeline.
The Senior Recruiter will be part of a Global Talent Acquisition Team with whom they will exchange and collaborate for building and sharing best practices, designing, and implementing tools to help attract and select best candidates for AbbVie.
Collaborating with global and local teams to execute the hiring process is key to the success of this role. You will be partnering closely with the HR business partner community, total rewards, works council and HR services etc.
- Demonstrate ability to proactively identify, source and manage talent pools aligned to business priorities
- Manage and drive local and global projects
- Work closely with all HR partners and drive an effective and efficient hiring process based on strong candidate assessments and market intel
- Core responsibility is to drive an excellent candidate experience, manage open job requisitions, update ATS, achieve recruiting metrics and report key accomplishments
- Prepare and approve offer packages
- Compile and communicate your knowledge, industry overviews, and market trends, data and analytics to team members and business leaders, in the form of e.g. Quarterly Business Reviews
- Ensure compliance to employment laws and AbbVie policies and practices for applicant tracking and reporting metrics
- Establish a true business partnership with hiring managers, HR partners and leadership on all recruitment related activities and issues.
- Talent Acquisition experience gained within an in house environment, working within a highly matrixed structure and extensive knowledge of the German works council
- Experience of recruiting for Commercial positions within the Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences industry - ideal but not essential
- A drive and mindset for continuous improvement and creating efficiencies of processes
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Ability to influence and consult through the use of complex data and insights
- Team player and ability to coach and support others
- Bachelor's degree required
- Recruitment experience in a competitive, fast-paced environment required.
