Job Summary
The Senior Product Specialist-Eye Care, Neuroscience (Sr.PS-ECNS)'s primary responsibility is developing the training journey of ophthalmologists, neurologists, and physiatrists in the Philippines. The Sr.PS-ECNS sees a clear application for the procedure in the treatment paradigm. He or she also ensures adherence to the training guidance document during this training journey. Sr.PS-ECNS should retain contact with surgeons every couple of months following completion and sign-off. Continue to monitor attitude and outcomes and be vigilant for challenges. Together with BUH, the sales manager, and marketing, Sr. PS-ECNS should put an emphasis on training efficiency and productivity to achieve KPIs as early as possible to maximize resources and time.
This will be achieved through:
- Fostering creativity and a desire to exceed client expectations through our products, our people, and our service offering.
- Leveraging scientific support and medical resources from the region, ISM, and Global to grow the business.
- Key Opinion Leader Development.
- Plan and establish the most effective territory call cycle.
- Organize and maintain territory records and submit reports to the Sales Manager and the Business Unit Manager on a timely basis.
- Report on key competitive activities and customer behavior to improve territory management in a timely manner.
- Manage expenses to maximize the profitability of the assigned territory.
- Plan call objectives before and conduct call analysis after each sales call to improve sales call efficiency.
- Present specialized sales calls to customers, utilizing professional sales and negotiation skills to ensure the desired goals of the calls.
- Build and maintain good relationships with customers and colleagues, as appropriate.
- Develop and maintain product, industrial, and competitive knowledge at all times.
- Fully cooperate with other team members (the sales manager, the product manager, and the sales team) to improve working efficiency and implement promotional campaigns.
- Support overall objectives of the business unit, in addition to individual objectives.
Sales Goals and Results:
- Achieve the financial goals of strategic brands to support the business goal in the Philippines.
- Develop and maintain key accounts to meet the LRP goal.
Customer Management and Execution Excellence:
- Identifying and prioritizing suitable customers to enroll in the injector training journey.
- Obtains commitment from HCPs and coordinates logistics for dry lab, wet lab, and live trainings. Collaborates with other stakeholders to execute and document events effectively.
- Scientific communication through F2F contacts, meetings, and presentations with or for ISM and stakeholders in accordance with applicable policy and training guidance documents Voice of authority and information on products in the Philippines and, if necessary, across the region.
- Proactively contacts the PS and BUM/SM to share any relevant insights relating to the HCP. Creates development interventions for PS, i.e., co-travels, surgery, and wet lab shadowing, 1 to 1’s or others on specific high priorities, and KOL surgeons and centers.
Customer Focus:
- Contacts HCPs to verify that outcomes are satisfactory and provides appropriate guidance. Strengthens contact to drive consumption and increase market opportunity.
Planning, Organizing & Reporting:
- Conducts wet lab and surgical training on scheduled dates. Completes post-training report forms after each surgery. provides a certificate of completion when they are satisfied with the surgeon’s competence.
- Provides timely and appropriate follow-up of any adverse events, complaints, or complications in accordance with local protocols.
- Participates in the development of products strategies for the Philippines, highlighting key milestones, objectives, challenges, opportunities, and priorities that are aligned with and reflected in the ISM Plans for the product. Execute these strategies in collaboration with country MA, RA, and commercial colleagues.
- Collaborate with the development of scientific programs for any products Advisory Boards and may chair them as indicated and when necessary.
- Providing an on-going monitoring report that helps the executive management team reflect on the businesses. These cover key issues, opportunities, competitive activity, short-term projects, and where appropriate, progress versus agreed milestones.
- Bachelor’s Degree of any 4-year course, preferred business, or science field
- Have at least 3-5 years of work experience in sales and marketing and pharmaceutical sales background is preferred but not required
- Highly motivated, can work under pressure and in a challenging business environment.
- Willingness to learn.
- Strong communication skills both oral and written.
- Pharmaceutical sales/marketing experience
- Knowledge of health care and/or pharmaceutical industry
- Extensive traveling as required by business needs

Where We Work
Role is primarily site- or office-based but can occasionally be performed remotely. Employees who are site/office-based and can occasionally perform their role virtually work both in the office and remotely*, following the policies and regulations in place at their location. US Employees must be in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. Three days in the office is the minimum; some individuals or teams may require more in-office days due to meetings, business/project needs or their role.
