The Sr. Manager, Strategy role on the Allergan Aesthetics Technology Strategy team is a strategic, cross-functional role focused on shaping technology-enabled experiences and product direction across the Allergan Aesthetics business. This team serves as a bridge between business goals, user needs, and technology opportunities, helping define priorities, evaluate new ideas, and guide roadmap recommendations that drive measurable business impact.
This role partners closely with stakeholders across marketing, sales, finance, operations, medical, research, legal and external partners to identify high-value opportunities, develop strategic recommendations, and support execution of initiatives that improve customer and consumer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Help define and evolve the technology and product strategy for Allergan Aesthetics initiatives.
- Translate business objectives, user needs, and market trends into actionable roadmap recommendations.
- Develop business cases, opportunity assessments, and impact models to support strategic decision-making.
- Identify whitespace opportunities, emerging needs, and long-term innovation areas.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align priorities, surface dependencies, and define execution approach.
- Lead evaluation of partnership, integration, and platform opportunities as needed.
- Synthesize qualitative and quantitative inputs into clear strategic recommendations for senior leaders.
- Monitor progress against objectives and help measure business outcomes tied to strategic initiatives.
- Contribute to a user-centered approach that keeps the customer and consumer experience at the center of product decisions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, Economics, Finance, Technology, Engineering, or related field; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in strategy, consulting, operations, digital transformation, or a related discipline, including 3+ years at a top consulting firm preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and turn ambiguous questions into actionable plans.
- Strong analytical skills with experience building business cases, evaluating tradeoffs, and making data-informed recommendations.
- Proven track record of collaborating across functions and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present clearly to varied audiences.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in healthcare, consumer, digital platform, or technology strategy roles.
- Background in product strategy, customer experience, or innovation.
- Familiarity with developing go/no-go recommendations and determining buy / build / partner decision
- Experience working with external partners or managing strategic initiatives across multiple teams.
