Job Description

Purpose

This position supports the transfer pricing process for the company’s international affiliates, including more than 100 entities, and manufactures and distribution centers for products and services. 

As a field of specialty finance, transfer pricing is an area that is becoming increasingly complex and offers a rewarding learning experience.  This job offers close interaction with and exposure to other specialty finance groups, such as Treasury, Tax, Customs, Inter-company Margin Accounting (TCGM), and Corporate Entity Planning and Analysis (CEP&A) groups. Additionally, given its function of supporting affiliates’ daily and annual pricing requests, the position also provides close contact with general accounting finance areas, such as Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), Reporting, Cost Accounting and Customer Service department.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in recycling transfer prices annually by:
    • Reviewing entity profitability analysis by product for commercial affiliates and communicating with affiliates on open issues
    • Creating appropriate transfer prices and managing the legacy/SAP interface
    • Reconciling transfer prices with affiliates’ requests
    • Performing analysis of duty impact by entity
  • Interacts daily with international distribution centers and affiliates by:
    • Processing daily transfer price requests from company affiliates with accuracy and timeliness
  • Prepares and delivers training to affiliates and headquarters finance groups
  • Supports margin analysis projects related to tax strategy or division-specific scenario requests from specialty finance and operation groups
  • Creates and updates daily process documentation/steps for improvement

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in either Finance or Accounting required.
  • Master’s degree and/or a CPA/CMA would be preferred.
  • Preferred 4+ years of progressive and related experience in financial analysis, audit, cost accounting or specialty finance areas.
  • Excellent Excel Skills: Advanced Intermediate, pivot tables, formulations, filtering, VLOOKUP’s
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong organization skills with attention to detail, ability to prioritize, plan, work independently
  • Assist to implement projects and meet deadlines, and a great interest in working with diverse customers.
  • Problem solving skills, ability to integrate multiple approaches to analyze data and procedures, take into account business considerations, develop recommendations and implement solutions.
