***This is a hybrid role based in Lake County, IL.***

Purpose

We seek a motivated and detail-oriented Veeva CRM Engineer to join our innovative and dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining Veeva CRM solutions to meet business requirements. You will collaborate closely with Architects, Senior Developers, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of Veeva CRM projects. The ideal candidate will possess extensive Salesforce and Veeva CRM experience, particularly with the Salesforce Classic and Lightning Experience. This position requires a technically savvy individual who can work independently with minimal supervision, effectively collaborate with offshore teams, and be a true team player.

Responsibilities

  • Development and customization of Veeva CRM solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with Architects, Senior Developers, Business Analysts, and Stakeholders to develop new features or enhancements for the Veeva CRM application.
  • Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the Veeva CRM application.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams for requirements involving downstream and upstream integrations.
  • Conduct timely impact assessments for Salesforce and Veeva CRM releases.
  • Support migration activities, including data mapping, transformation, and loading.
  • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field with at least 5 years’ experience; Master’s Degree with 4 years’ experience.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of Salesforce CRM development experience (including Classic and Lightning) and 3 years of Veeva CRM development.
  • Technical savvy with proficiency in CRM platforms, databases, and integration tools.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Java, Apex, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
  • Experience with SOQL, SOSL, and relational databases.
  • Proficient in the salesforce no-code/low-code development framework.
  • Extensive knowledge of Veeva CRM's object model and configuration, including Account, Address, Affiliation, Call Management, Sampling, CLM, AE, MyInsights, and Coaching reports.

Beneficial: 

  • Certifications in Veeva CRM and Salesforce.
  • Experience with Veeva Vault or other Veeva products.
  • Understanding of the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub and Azure and DevOps tools like JIRA and Confluence.
