Job Description

The Senior Financial Analyst will support specific financial planning and analysis processes and important team projects making a lasting contribution to the success of the company. The primary objective of this position is to provide FP&A support to the US Oncology business.    

Responsibilities

  • Supports monthly Last Best Estimate (LBE)s, Plan, and Long Range Plan (LRP) reporting and consolidation of financial material related to review packages as required, using BPC, Excel.
  • Prepares and develops drafts of annual Plan, LRP and LBEs as required, including P&L, headcount, using planning system. 
  • Supports the finance system transformation, developing and enhancing reports in BPC.
  • Provides accurate and timely analysis to meet important due dates and project timelines.
  • Reconciles data across multiple sources of input, propose and implement your ideas about process improvements.
  • Assists with variance analysis and commentary for planning cycles and management reporting under direct guidance of Manager for BU Capabilities
  • Collaborates with FSS to ensure appropriate accruals are booked for both Purchase Order activity as well as Collaboration settlements.
  • Prepares required planning cycle submission templates / ad hoc requests in a timely manner to reflect accurate forecast. amounts, providing required commentary on variances vs various benchmarks.
  • Perform system loading / data validation activities for planning cycle submissions on time.
     

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.
  • Preferred 4+ years of progressive and related experience in Finance and/or Accounting.
  • Execute priorities established by Manager with speed and agility.
  • Strong financial, analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Proficient Excel skills required.
  • Knowledge of SAP and BPC a plus.
